摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for reducing wall erosion in a plasma containment tube (20), such as, for example, a quartz plasma tube (20) used in a microwave-induced plasma reaction process for etching semiconductor wafers. A pure benign or non-corrosive gas (Ar) is introduced into the "upstream" section (22a) of the tube (22), where the microwave energy is imparted to create a plasma. The activated benign gas flows "downstream" through a flange (28), preferably made of quartz, which is seated on o-rings (50) inside a water-cooled metal flange (48). These sealing o-rings (50) are thus cooled and removed from the ultraviolet light created by the plasma. The corrosive etchant gas (SF.sub.6) is introduced into the "downstream" section (22b) of the tube (22) beyond the flange (28), where it is activated by the benign gas (Ar). The benign gas (Ar) flows principally along the inner sidewalls of the tube (22), and the etchant gas (SF.sub.6) is thus principally contained by the benign gas (Ar) in the center of this section (22b) of the tube. This "downstream" section (22b) of the tube (22) is surrounded by a water jacket (24), which channels coolant around the outer surface of the tube (22b). Consequently, etching erosion of the inner surface of the tube (22) is minimized in the "upstream" or microwave section (22a) where the plasma is hottest, and also in the "downstream" section (22b) where the corrosive etchant gas (SF.sub.6) is activated.

摘要: A computer system and method is disclosed for automatically establishing a screen sharing session between a first party and a second party based upon device associations. A computer telephony system establishes a telecommunication session between at least a first and second party. The computer telephony system receives a request for a screen sharing session from one party to the telecommunication session. Using a configuration plan, the computer telephony system is able to determine the proper computing devices between which to establish the screen sharing session absent user entry. A screen sharing session is created between the parties of the telecommunication session and optionally tied thereto.

摘要: A complete tool kit for cleaning firearms is disclosed. The tool kit utilizes a support rod constructed of rigid polymeric material. The tool kit further includes a rigid stainless steel brush, a combination brush composed of separate rigid polymeric and bronze brushes, a rotary bronze bore brush, a rigid spear point, as well as a rotary bore drying and cleaning attachment using a pair of cloth patches. The support rod is provided with threaded bores in its opposite ends for selectively mounting the noted brushes, spear point, and drying attachment in any selected positional array on the rod ends. A tubular foam rubber pad is positionable around either the support rod, an extension bar, or handle member to facilitate manipulation of a tool kit assembled from the kit. A plurality of support rod extension bars are attachable to either end of the support rod and to the facing ends of each other to increase the length of the support rod. A rod handle element is attachable to an end of either an extension bar or the support rod to provide further manipulative control of an extended length tool assembled from the kit.

摘要: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for automating the activation of agents in particular workgroups. A call queue server receives incoming communications. A scheduling server is coupled to the call center server over a network and analyzes historical communication data to calculate a forecasted load for a particular time period. The system uses the forecasted load to create agent schedules for the workgroups for the particular time period. The system programmatically activates and deactivates the agents into and out of the workgroups at scheduled points in time based on the calculated schedules. The call center server routes each of the queued communications to a particular agent that is activated on a particular one of the workgroup.

摘要: A computer-implemented system and method for assisting managers of a contact center is provided. The monitoring of agent communications is performed automatically and the communications are assigned to a group of supervisors for scoring. The scores assigned to the communications are then received and programmatically evaluated against predetermined criteria to determine the quality of the supervisors' performance. If the quality of performance is below an acceptable threshold, then the need for supervisor performance improvement is indicated. In one embodiment, the system automatically schedules a session for establishing/reinforcing a set of scoring guidelines in response to the indication.

摘要: A system of networked computers is disclosed having a number of servers and a number of clients. The clients are each provided with access to server selector service and the servers are each provided with access to a server reporter service. The server selector service is operable to obtain server processing load information from the server reporter service. The server selector service is responsive to a client activation request for a software task designated for server execution to select two or more servers to interrogate for server processing load information and designate one of the servers to execute the software task based on the server processing load information obtained by this interrogation.
