摘要: A spinel type ceramic sintered body is provided starting from a chromiferous slag which is a waste discharged from sodium chromate production, said sintered body being reproducable by selecting the mole ratios of R.sub.2 O/MgO to 0.9-2.0 and SiO.sub.2 /MgO to 1-6 wherein R represents collectively Al, Fe and Cr, the sintered body having high thermal conductivity falling within the range of 1.3-2.5 kcal/mh.degree. C., specific electric resistance falling within the range of 10.sup.2 -10.sup.7 cm high mechanical strengths and unique coloration and which can be used as a functional tile.

摘要: In a method of producing a hydrated iron oxide as a starting material for a magnetic powder by aging a suspension of a ferric hydroxide prepared by reacting a ferric salt with an aqueous solution of alkali, the aging temperature is controlled between 20.degree. and 100.degree. C. and pH is controlled between 1 and 6 for the first 5 to 240 minutes while nuclei of hydrated iron oxide crystals generate, and then the aqueous solution of alkali is added again to adjust the pH value to 10 to 13.5 to make the crystals grow. This production method is capable of producing an acicular hydrated iron oxide having a reduced particle-size distribution range and also capable of controlling the length of the crystals as desired.

摘要: A safety indwelling needle including an inner needle unit 1 having an inner needle 8, an inner needle hub 14 and a housing member 13 disposed at a distal side of the inner needle hub 14, and an outer needle unit 2 having an outer needle 4, an outer needle hub 5 and an outer needle cap 9, characterized in that the housing member 13 includes openings for allowing penetration of the inner needle 8 at a distal end and a proximal end thereof, an internal space for storing only a distal end portion of the inner needle 8 including a needlepoint 3 thereof when the inner needle 8 is drawn out from the outer needle 4, and a shielding member which automatically closes the opening at the proximal end of the housing member 13 by a magnetic force.
