摘要: The invention relates to a method for deep rolling the passes or radii on the transitions between journal and cheeks or flanges of crankshafts by means of a deep rolling device (1) of a deep rolling machine, said deep rolling device having a lazy tongs-type design. The deep rolling device (1) has two tongs arms (2, 3) that are articulated to each other via a pivot joint (24). The corresponding outer ends (4, 5, 9, 10) of the tongs arms (2, 3) are provided with a deep rolling tool (6) or a force generator (11) for generating the deep rolling force. A measuring tape (18) and a sensor (19) which are provided on the pivot joint (24) are used to measure the impression depth of the deep rolling rollers (12) under the effect of the deep rolling force. A measuring device (22) mounted on the exterior (21) of a tongs arm (2) is used to measure the degree by which the tongs arm (2) bends under the effect of the deep rolling force.

摘要: A deep rolling machine has a power unit (13) attached in a gate (31) such that the power unit (13) can be moved in the direction of force exertion (30). The power unit (13) is connected, with articulation, at one end (32), via a joint (33), to the end (11) of a shearing arm (3) of the deep rolling unit (15). The free end (34) of the gate (31) is fit with a back up roller (35) that is routed along a curved web (36), defined in a gap in the second end (11) of the shearing arm (3). In the closed position of the power unit (13), three joints (28, 29, 33) form a triangle (37). One of the joints (28) points to the rotating joint (5). The two shearing arms (3 and 4) of the deep rolling unit (15) are articulately connected to one another at the rotating joint (5). Also in the closed position, a crank lever (27) reaches a limit stop (39) at the end (12) of the shearing arm (4).

摘要: A deep rolling roller head includes two housings for the deep rolling of the outer radii or fillets of split-pin crankshaft journals by means of two deep rolling rollers which are pressed into one of the two fillets under a rolling force while the crankshaft rotates around its axis of rotation. The two housings follow at the same time the different movements of the journals and support each other with their insides across from each other on a bearing plate. The insides of the housings bear on either side of the axis of rotation of the crankshaft and at a distance from it on an extension segment extending in the direction of the rolling force to below a contact point between the deep rolling rollers and the fillets to be deep-rolled.
