    摘要: An anesthetic filter arrangement has a filter housing with openings disposed to delimit a gas flow path inside the housing for gas passing to and from a patient, and having disposed within the gas flow path a filter element formed of an adsorption material for the alternate adsorption and desorption of gaseous anesthetic from and into gas passing along the gas flow path respectively from and to the patient. An energy source is provided to supply thermal and/or vibrational energy at the filter element to vary retention of the gaseous anesthetic by the filter element.

    摘要: An anaesthetic device has a manual ventilation bag, a mechanical ventilator and a user interface for setting an operating mode, including mechanical ventilation via the mechanical ventilator and manual ventilation via the manual ventilation bag, and for setting parameter values for the operating mode that has been set. The anaesthetic device further has a remote control for wireless transmission of commands to the user interface. The user interface is adapted to carry out the commands from the remote control only when the anaesthetic device is set for manual ventilation.

In a method for controlling a breathing apparatus, an electronic expiration valve is controlled during the mechanical ventilation mode as well as during the manual ventilation mode of the apparatus. The control of the expiration valve can be implemented by means of a software product for the breathing apparatus embodying programming instructions as control rules, which, when executed in the apparatus, enable control of the expiration valve during manual ventilation.

    摘要: A delivery apparatus for pressurized medical liquids has a primary reservoir and a primary pressurizing arrangement configured for removably pressurizing medical liquid in the primary reservoir to a delivery pressure. A secondary reservoir has an inlet connected via a valve to receive pressurized liquid from the primary reservoir. As secondary pressurizing arrangement is arranged for supplying a compensating pressure to the received pressurized liquid to maintain it at substantially the delivery pressure as pressure is reduced in the primary reservoir, particularly during refilling with medical liquid from an unpressurized source.
