    摘要: A stub-out assembly includes a stub-out conduit that defines a major diameter and a minor diameter. The minor diameter defines an attachment groove for receipt of a mount housing and a valve housing. The mount housing includes a multitude of circumferential fingers which each include a barbed end that engage a corresponding internal groove within the valve housing of the valve assembly. The mount housing fits over the minor diameter and a retainer in the mount housing is aligned with the attachment groove. The retainer includes a partially annular set of conduit attachment legs and a set of housing attachment legs. The conduit attachment legs engage the attachment groove to axially retain the conduit therein. The housing attachment legs each include a barbed end which engage a corresponding surface located within the slot.

    摘要: A messaging system (1) comprises a server which registers (2) clients (users) and stores uploaded contact data in contacts databases (11). The contact databases have meta data including profile attributes indicating the subject matter profiles of the contacts. A content manager (25) receives content items such as collateral parts and message text and stores them in content databases, also with meta data having profile attributes. When a client requests a message to be sent to a contact, the content manager (25) automatically identifies relevant content items according to the profile attributes, and a messaging engine (21) sends a message with a wrapper having links to these content items. When the contact responds, a response management function (22) captures response data and instructs a build engine (20) to build content from the identified items. The content is then sent to the contact.

    摘要: The remote control assembly includes an adjustment mechanism for adjustment along the longitudinal axis which generically includes opposed and radially outwardly tapered wedge or conical sections (16) and a pair of female conical ramps (18) in engagement with the conical wedges (16). Each of the conical wedges (16) is paired with one of the ramps (18) for wedging action with the associated ramp (18) in response to an axial force applied to the paired one of the ramps (18) to create radial binding forces to prevent axial movement along the longitudinal axis in the direction of the applied axial force. In the embodiment of FIGS. 1-3, the small diameter ends (20) are connected together by a snap-together connection section (28-30) connecting the conical wedges together whereas in the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5, the small diameter ends (20) of the conical wedges (16) are integrally connected together by an integral section (24).

    摘要: A spigot control system is disclosed herein comprising: an attacher assembly; and a torquer that attaches to an existing water dispensing system. The attacher assembly comprises male and female mated portions that interlock to a spigot handle. The attacher assembly substantially prevents rotation of the torquer in circumferential relation to the spigot by attaching around or to the spigot handle. The torquer provides a torque increasing means whereby a user may rotate and manipulate the spigot handle between open and closed conditions with relative ease. The torquer further comprises a securer providing securement means between the torquer and the spigot handle via the attacher assembly. The torquer may comprise durable material with appropriate strength, wear and fatigue characteristics suitable to withstand user-applied torque over a wide range of temperature variations within diverse environmental conditions. The spigot control system may also be attached to an existing beverage dispensing system. Various ornamental designs of the torquer and configurations of the attacher assembly are disclosed herein for the present invention.

An analyzer is used for obtaining data from a user's actual movement of a sports racquet, such as a golf club. An interface interconnects the analyzer and the video player so that data obtained from the analyzer is translated into a form acceptable to the video player so that mechanical manipulation of buttons of the standard video player is replaced by data derived from the actual swing motions associated with the game. This enables the user to benefit from visual feedback on his/her shot through the video game and also increases his/her pleasure by providing simulated course conditions, of greatly enhanced realism by means of use of video games, as encountered in a real game, such as golf.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for determining whether an encoder of a borehole tool is jammed are disclosed. The borehole tool has a motor with a drive shaft which is coupled to and drives an encoder, a position sensor coupled to the motor for sensing the position of the motor, and a microprocessor coupled to the position sensor and to the motor in a feedback loop, with the microprocessor controlling the movement of the motor based on the sensed position of the motor and the desired position of the motor. The method for determining jamming includes: determining, at a first plurality of times, positions of the motor from the position sensor; determining position errors of the motor from the positions of the motor and desired positions of the motor as determined by the microprocessor; and determining whether the encoder is jammed based on whether the position error exceeds a threshold value. In determining jamming, the microprocessor can also determine the rotational velocity of the motor, and account is taken of whether the motor velocity exceeds a threshold velocity at a time when the position error exceeds its threshold value.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for integrating logging tool data and digital rock physics to estimate rock formation properties. A rock sample from a logging tool such as a sidewall plug or large enough cutting can be extracted by the logging tool at approximately the same well bore location that the logging tool measures fluid properties. The rock samples thus obtained is scanned using a CT scanner, scanning electron microscope or other suitable scanning device. The resulting scanned rock image can be segmented and rock properties comprising porosity, absolute permeability, relative permeability, capillary pressure and other relevant rock properties are calculated. The resulting digital calculations are integrated with logging tool data and rock property estimates to improve the accuracy and timeliness of the logging tool data.
