摘要： A comprehensive play set is provided for use by children in playing animal hospital games. The set includes a case formed of a pair of hingedly connected mating casing portions which can be opened by the child for access to objects or items mounted or stored therein. A hanger device for receiving various toy medical instruments and a toy medicine cabinet for containing such instruments are secured to casing walls inside the casing. A bunk bed is removably hanging having a lip received by an upturned or hook-like flange secured to the inner surface of a wall of one casing half. An assortment of other toy medical items is contained in the case including an operating or examination table, as well as a plurality of figurines to be used by the child as patients.

摘要： A figure toy adapted to change its posture upon impact includes a central body or mid-torso portion having an upper torso or body portion and a lower torso or hip portion pivotally coupled thereto. The figure toy further includes a bistable, force-applying element that pivots the upper and lower torso portions relative to the central body portion upon impact to the figure toy. The figure toy further includes a pair of arms, pivoted to the upper torso portion and a pair of legs, pivoted to the hip portion, which are actuated by the force applying element. A launching device is provided including a biased figure toy mounting platform which is held in a prelaunching position by a latch. The latch is depressed by a selectively actuable element to release the platform and launch the figure toy. A second launching device is disclosed which includes a figure toy mounting platform pivotally coupled to a base. The platform includes a device for holding the doll onto the platform until the platform is pivoted through a predetermined angle by an actuating element, whereupon the figure toy is released.

摘要： A cylindrical ring and a character having a number of extending parts that are circumscribed by a circle having a diameter equal to the inside diameter of the ring are readily combinable by a child to make a rotating toy. Insertion and removal of the character from the inside of the ring are facilitated by making the ring of a deformable material. The combined ring and character are placed in a vehicle in contact with the vehicle wheels so that as the vehicle is moved along a playing surface, the wheels rotate the combined ring and character. Part of the vehicle body is hinged for closing an opening through which the combined ring and character are inserted. Above the ring is a transparent dome in which a ball is positioned in contact with the ring so that as the combined ring and character rotate, the ball rotates within the dome. Other accessories provide rotatable surfaces which engage the outer curved surface of the cylindrical ring to rotate the combined ring and character. Yet another accessory provides surfaces on which the combined ring and character roll, under the force of gravity, and produce a bell ringing action.

摘要： An articulated doll including an internal arrangement for allowing the doll to sit down from a standing position without the assistance of the doll user. With the doll in a standing position and the arms upright, the user rotates the arms to a down position and then releases the arms. After a predetermined time interval, the internal arrangement of the doll causes the doll to move from the standing position to a sitting position. When the doll is returned to a standing position, a control mechanism located on the doll torso is actuated to lock the legs of the doll to a standing position. The doll is also capable of being walked by the user holding the doll by the arms and alternately lifting one leg and then the other off the walking surface. The leg lifted from the walking surface pivots and the doll takes a step.

摘要： A velocipede is provided in the form of a carriage supported by swivel wheels and having a drive or propelling wheel for engaging a support surface and propelling the velocipede along the surface. The propelling wheel has an axle secured to the lower end of a generally vertical shaft having a steering wheel at the upper end thereof so that the direction of the propelling wheel, and thus the direction in which the carriage travels, is controlled by turning the steering wheel. The steering wheel shaft and propelling wheel can be turned 360.degree. so that the velocipede can be turned to travel in any direction at any time. The velocipede is propelled by a pair of pedals on a Z shaft secured to a drive gear forming a part of the drive train for driving the propelling wheel. Gears are also provided transmitting rotational force to one end of a spool gear surrounding the steering shaft. The other end of the spool gear engages an annular or circular gear on the propelling wheel to propel the wheel regardless of the direction toward which it is turned.

摘要： A four-legged walking toy includes a body supported by four pivotally secured legs and a drive mechanism operative upon the legs which includes a pair of mirror image drive units each having three elliptical gears therein. The center elliptical gears of each drive unit are coupled in a one hundred eighty degree phase relationship to offset the operation of left legs from right legs correspondingly. A plurality of frictional members are positioned on the underside of the animal hooves to provide frictional engagement as the walking toy is pushed across a suitable surface. The rearward movement of each forwardly extended leg couples rotational power through the elliptical gear mechanisms to the remaining legs to provide a realistic motion profile.
