    摘要: A method for altering attribute values in a printing system with a user interface having a display screen is provided. A first user dialog having a first set of attribute values and a second user dialog having a second set of attribute values are selectively displayable on the display screen; while the first set of attribute values is alterable from a first user settable configuration to a first default configuration and the second set of attribute values is alterable from a second user settable configuration to a second default configuration. The user interface further includes a user activatable area for altering the attribute values and the method includes the steps of: (a) activating the user activatable area a first time to alter the first set of attribute values from the first user settable configuration to the first default configuration when the first set of attribute values is disposed in the first user settable configuration; and (b) activating the user activatable area a second time to alter the second set of attribute values from the second user settable configuration to the second default configuration when both the second set of attributes is in the second user settable configuration and selected user information is provided to the user interface.

    摘要: Confirmation sheets would be more useful if they provided status information for each service, for each destination or recipient and/or images of each page of a multi-service and/or multi-destination job. A confirmation sheet provides the status of multi-destination and/or multi-service document distribution jobs. The services that can be included in a multi-service document distribution job include sending the documents as a facsimile, scanning the documents to a file or to a file repository, e-mailing the documents to an individual or other address, and/or printing the documents. Thumbnail images of one or more pages of the multi-destination and/or multi-service job can also be included on the confirmation sheet. In various exemplary embodiments, when elements of a multi-destination or multi-service job are not completed at the time the confirmation sheet is requested, the confirmation sheet can include various structures or information usable to obtain job status at a later time.

    摘要: An improved cable crossover device for protecting electrical cables from damage. The device is modular in design and comprises modular sections coupled together by a strengthened interlocking system which allows for a variable length device. The main modular section comprises a solid body of elastomeric material comprising two opposed ramps. Each ramp comprises a bottom, generally horizontal surface and an inclined surface extending upwardly from the bottom surface at an angle. Each ramp merges with a central portion of the crossover device comprising a horizontal surface between which is located a plurality of U-shaped recesses, each recess comprising spaced vertical walls and a horizontal base wall therebetween. The electrical cables are positioned within the recesses, each recess being dimensioned so that more than one cable can be supported therein. A hinged lid of a width sufficient to cover each of the recesses is provided to both protect the cables from damage and to assume part of the load which passes over the crossover device, the non-hinged end of the lid being secured to the device by a Velcro system (i.e. loops or hooks).

    摘要: A method for ordered fault clearance visualization in a computer controlled print production device includes receiving data from the print production device operational sensors indicating a possible fault event. Fault analysis is performed to determine whether faults have occurred and to identify the location and type for each fault, based on the data and fault definitions. Identified faults are prioritized, with each fault assigned a unique priority and the order in which the faults are to be cleared is developed. A visualization of the print production device is presented on the graphical user interface, with graphical cues superimposed upon the visualization of the print production device to indicate the fault order, such that a single view presents all identified faults in the system and the fault order in which they should be cleared. The visualization is updated as each said fault is cleared until a no fault state is achieved.
