One or more measurements of signals received on the resources indicated by the resource setting for the component carrier can be measured based at least in part on the one or more parameters, and reported to a base station.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission with precoding. A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a SRS configuration that configures one or more SRS resource sets, each resource set including one or more SRS resources, each SRS resource comprising one or more SRS ports. The UE receives a set of precoders via an indicator, the set of precoders including a precoder associated with each SRS resource and determines one or more precoders to apply for one or more SRS transmissions via one or more of the SRS resources.

A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration. The CSI report configuration configures the UE for reporting precoding matrix information including, for each layer, a plurality of selected beams L, a plurality of frequency domain compression bases F for the L beams, and a subset of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression bases and beams. The UE can determine a number of coefficients to report for a higher rank based on a configured maximum number of coefficients to report for a lower rank.

A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) (120a) includes receiving a CSI report configuration for frequency domain compressed precoder matrix feedback. The CSI report configuration configures the UE (120a) to report, for a plurality of selected beams at a plurality of time domain taps, a frequency domain compression basis vector and a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression (805). For each of the beams, the UE (120a) groups the time domain taps into at least first and second groups. The groups each can have zero, one, or more than one time domain taps (810). The UE (120a) quantizes the corresponding linear combination coefficients and/or frequency domain compression basis vectors based on the grouping (815).

In some cases, a UE may signal, to a network entity, capability information of the UE for non-codebook uplink transmissions. The UE may then receive, signaling, from the network entity, indicating a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) configurations based at least on the signaled capability information, wherein at least one configuration indicates at least one SRS resource and determine a plurality of precoding candidates, wherein each precoding candidate is associated with a configured SRS resource. The UE may then transmit the SRSs using the associated precoding candidates.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink scheduling for communication on an uplink from a user equipment (UE) to a base station (BS). The uplink scheduling is based on uplink transmission (UL Tx) switching time and/or uplink data preparation time of the UE. The uplink data preparation time is calculated based on the UL Tx switching time. For example, a UE can report to a BS at least one of an indication of a UL Tx switching time and an uplink data preparation time of the UE. In return, the UE can receive an indication of uplink scheduling from the BS, which the UE can use to communicate with the BS.

A user equipment (UE) may configured with a CSI reporting configuration. CQI and PMI may be configured with different FD unit sizes. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating corresponding CQI FD units. PMI and CQI FD units may not be aligned. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating CQI based on the alignment. PMI and CQI FD units may be configured using a separate bitmaps, a bitmap and ratio of the FD unit sizes, or a single bitmap. PMI and/or CQI FD units may start from a lowest FD unit index in the system bandwidth, or the lowest FD unit index within a configured bandwidth part (BWP).
