Multiple acquired data packets are mapped to different sessions according to data header information of the data packets, in which each session corresponds to one or more data packets. A data packet is encapsulated into a session message, in which the encapsulated session message includes a session identifier of the session corresponding to the one or more data packets. Multiple session messages belonging to the same session are transmitted to a next network node through at least two tunnels in link layer.

    摘要: In the field of communications, a method and a system for packet transmission in an optical communication system, and an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) are provided. The method includes: receiving, from a port, a first uplink packet from an Optical Network Unit (ONU), where the first uplink packet includes a Logical Link Identifier (ID); determining a first ID corresponding to the first uplink packet, where the first ID includes an ONU ID or a Port ID; acquiring a Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) tunnel label according to the Logical Link ID and the first ID; and transmitting a second uplink packet on an MPLS tunnel corresponding to the MPLS tunnel label, where the second uplink packet includes data in the first uplink packet and the MPLS tunnel label. The system includes an ONU and an OLT. By establishing a corresponding relation of a logical link, created between the OLT and the ONU, and the MPLS tunnel, mapping between the logical link and the MPLS tunnel is realized, so that the service configuration has an unlimited capacity and becomes more flexible.

A method for implementing communications by an access network system with separated control and bearer is provided. Because the access network of the present invention implements separation of control and bearer, the network control method does not need to alter when the bearing technique changes, thereby improving network extensibility and reducing the network maintenance cost.

    摘要: A PON ring system and a method for realizing primary and backup link protection in a passive optical network (PON) are provided. A PON ring is established between at least two optical line terminations (OLTs) through at least two user side edge nodes or network side edge nodes. Each of the OLTs is coupled to any other OLT through the at least two edge nodes. Two links respectively in a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction exist in the PON ring, in which one link is a primary link and the other is a backup link. Node of the links adopt the transmission mode of “multiple sending and selective receiving”. Therefore, the present invention reduces the impact on the PON caused by single link failure in the network.
