The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the image processing device to perform: a first separation to separate a target image represented by target image data into a plurality of regions that include a first region and a second region different from the first region; a second separation to separate the first region into a plurality of sub-regions and to separate the second region into a plurality of sub-regions; and generating a consolidated region by consolidating at least two sub-regions among the plurality of sub-regions separated from the first and second regions.

There is provided an image processing apparatus includes a control device configured to store, in a memory of the image processing apparatus, image data representing a plurality of page images to which page orders are defined, respectively, wherein the plurality of page images include a first page image to which a first page order is defined, a second page image to which a second page order is defined, and a third page image to which a third page order is defined, and wherein the second page order is a page order between the first page order and the third page order, acquire read data generated by reading an original, and if the read data includes the first page image and the third page image, delete the second page image from the image data to generate edited image data.

The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the image processing device to perform: generating edge image data by using the original image data; calculating characteristic values for a plurality of determination regions; and identifying a determination region as a nonuniform region when the characteristic value of the determination region satisfies a prescribed criterion, and the determination region as a uniform region when the characteristic value of the determination region does not satisfy the prescribed criterion. Each of the plurality of determination regions corresponds to one of the characteristic values, represents a part of the edge image, and includes a plurality of pixels, the plurality of determination regions being different from one another, each of the characteristic values characterizing the edge strength of the corresponding determination region.
