Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a nitrogen containing thermoplastic polymer composition having reduced combustion toxicity. The disclosed thermoplastic composition comprises at least one polyetherimide resin, and at least one combustion toxicant suppressant. Also disclosed is a method for making the disclosed thermoplastic polymer composition and an article of manufacture comprising the disclosed polymer composition.
