Abstract:
A vehicle lighting glazing, includes first and second transparent sheets each having a first face, a second face and a rim; a lamination separator in contact with the second face of the first sheet and with the first face of the second sheet, one or more light-emitting diode modules (LED modules) each including light-emitting diodes (LEDs) fixed onto a support, the modules being positioned so that the emitting face of the LEDs is facing the rim of the first sheet, and a light extraction element, wherein the second sheet extends beyond the first sheet, at least in the parts of the edge of the glazing where the LED modules are housed, so as to create, on the first face of the second sheet or on a coating covering this face, an area for receiving a bead of glue intended to fix the glazing to the bodywork of the vehicle.
Abstract:
An illuminating glazing unit includes a first sheet having a first main face, a second main face and an edge face; a second sheet having a first main face, a second main face and an edge face; a lamination interlayer having an extent smaller than that of each of the glass sheets and defining a space between the edge of the second main face of the first sheet and the edge of the first main face of the second sheet; a strip of LEDs, including a printed circuit board and a plurality of LEDs, positioned so that the emitting faces of the LEDs face the edge face of the first sheet; and an encapsulating element made of an opaque polymer encapsulating at least the edge face of the second sheet and the LED strip. The PCB bears against the first main face of the second glass sheet with a plurality of spacers and the space is filled by the opaque polymer.
Abstract:
A luminous multiple glazing unit of a door of furniture notably refrigerated includes a first sheet of mineral glass or organic glass, a second sheet separated from the first sheet by peripheral spacer, a peripheral light source with a source support, a light extraction device for extracting the guided light to form at least one luminous zone, the source support being in a housing surrounded by material, forming a framing, including an assembly element, covered by a cap, the cap and the diode support being removable from the glazing unit.
