    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding region, a folding region, and a second non-folding region, a first support plate disposed below the display panel and having a plurality of openings which overlap the folding region and are defined in the first support plate, a second-first support plate overlapping the first non-folding region and disposed below the first support plate in a plan view, a second-second support plate overlapping the second non-folding region and disposed below the first support plate in the plan view, and a plurality of impact resistant layers disposed between the first support plate and the second-first support plate and between the first support plate and the second-second support plate. Each of the impact resistant layers may have a thickness of about 40 micrometers to about 300 micrometers.
