Abstract: A device that wirelessly transfers power to an external device is provided. The device for wirelessly transferring power to an external device includes a resonant circuit including an adaptive circuit including at least one variable capacitor and a first inductor inductively coupled to the external device and configured to transfer the power to the external device using inductive coupling, and a first direct current (DC) power supply configured to apply a DC voltage to the adaptive circuit based on a control signal, wherein capacitance of the at least one variable capacitor is adjusted based on the DC voltage applied to the adaptive circuit.

The liquid crystal compositions have high optical anisotropy, a positive dielectric anisotropy and a wide temperature range of nematic phases.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a microwave oven having an improved structure with which foods can be effectively heated. The microwave oven includes: a housing including a cooking chamber having a bottom surface; at least one first reflective portion formed on the bottom surface of the cooking chamber; a magnetron provided to generate microwave radiation; and a tray disposed apart from the bottom surface of the cooking chamber and supporting food to be heated. The at least one first reflective portion extends a given height (h) above a reference level (RL).

Abstract: Provided is a switching device including: a cascode switch including at least two transistors connected in series and receiving a switching control signal; and a third switch receiving the switching control signal, wherein the at least two transistors include a first transistor receiving the switching control signal through a control terminal and a second transistor having a control terminal connected to a first voltage source, and wherein the third switch is connected between the control terminal and the first terminal of the second transistor, is turned off when the first transistor is turned on, and is turned on when the first transistor is turned off.
