Abstract: A touch screen controller, a touch screen driving circuit and a touch screen system are provided. The touch screen driving circuit configured to drive a touch screen includes an analog driving circuit configured to provide driving signals to a display panel and a touch panel of the touch screen, and generate a touch sensing value based on a touch sensing signal from the touch panel; a display noise table (DNT) comprising display noise information indicating display noise that varies according to a driving state of the touch screen and image data; a feature extractor configured to extract a plurality of feature values from the driving state and the image data; and a touch processor configured to read a display noise value mapped to the plurality of feature values from the DNT, subtract the display noise value from the touch sensing value and generate a touch value.

Abstract: A display chipset structure that is based on an integrated display controller is provided. The display controller includes including a display processor comprising a first digital circuit, and configured to receive image data from an application processor (AP) and output the image data to a first component driver chip configured to drive a gate line and a source line of a display panel; and a touch processor comprising a second digital circuit, and configured to receive touch data from a second component driver chip configured to drive sensing electrodes of a touch panel. The display controller is implemented as one semiconductor chip and separated from each of the first and second component driver chips, and the display processor and the touch processor communicate with each other through an internal interconnection of the one semiconductor chip.

Abstract: A stacked display driver integrated circuit (DDIC) configured to drive a display panel of a display device includes a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit is formed by a low-end process according to a first design rule such that the first circuit has a first critical dimension. The second circuit is formed by a high-end process according to a second design rule smaller than the first design rule such that the second circuit has a second critical dimension smaller than the first critical dimension. The first circuit and the second circuit are stacked in a vertical direction. The size of the stacked DDIC may be reduced by stacking, in the vertical direction, the first circuit including analog circuits and the second circuit including digital circuits.

Abstract: A display system including a host processor and a display driver integrated circuit may be provided. The host processor may generate a clock signal that swings swinging between a high level and a low level, generate and output a first synchronization signal based on the clock signal, generate a wakeup interrupt by measuring a frame update period of a display panel, generates frame data based on the first synchronization signal by enabling an image providing path based on the wakeup interrupt, and output the frame data for every frame update period. The display driver integrated circuit may receive the first synchronization signal and the frame data from the host processor, and control the display panel such that a frame image corresponding to the frame data is displayed on the display panel based on the first synchronization signal without storing the frame data.
