摘要: A water feed system of a refrigerator includes a filter and water tank assembly; a first water feed pipe connecting an external water source, the filter and water tank assembly; a second water feed pipe connecting the filter, water tank assembly and icemaker; and a third water feed pipe connecting the filter, water tank assembly and dispenser. The filter and water tank assembly includes a filter; a water tank; and a valve provided at a junction of a hose connecting the water tank to the second water feed pipe and the third water feed pipe to selectively supply the water from the water tank to the second water feed pipe or the third water feed pipe. The filter and water tank assembly further includes a control valve to control supply of water from the external water source.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a refrigerator comprises preparing an inner case including a top wall, opposite side walls, a rear wall and a bottom wall; preparing an outer case to be coupled to an outside of the inner case; preparing an ice making chamber case including a horizontal wall, a vertical wall and a case insulator interposed between a case insulator, the horizontal and vertical walls forming an ice making chamber together with at least a portion of the top wall, at least a portion of one of the side walls and at least a portion of the rear wall; coupling the ice making chamber case to an inside of the inner case; coupling the outer case to the outside of the inner case; and foaming a body insulator between the inner case and the outer case.

摘要: A refrigerator in which an ice making chamber case including a horizontal wall, a vertical wall, a front opening and a front edge is coupled to an inside of an inner case, to form an ice making chamber. A case insulator is disposed in a wall space of the ice making chamber case. The case insulator is foamed separately from a body insulator which is foamed between inner and outer cases of a refrigerator body. Since the case insulator is foamed separately from the body insulator, it is possible to easily achieve foaming of the case insulator. It is also possible to prepare the ice making chamber case separately from molding of the inner case.

The refrigerator includes a body, a storage chamber defined in the body while having an opened front side, a door to open or close the opened front side of the storage chamber, a water tank to store clean water, a carbonated water production module mounted to a back surface of the door, the carbonated water production module including a carbon dioxide gas cylinder stored with carbon dioxide gas, a carbonated water tank to produce carbonated water through mixing of the clean water with the carbon dioxide gas, and a gas regulator to adjust a pressure of the carbon dioxide gas flowing from the carbon dioxide gas cylinder to the carbonated water tank, and a safety device to selectively move the carbon dioxide gas cylinder toward or away from the gas regulator, thereby coupling or separating the carbon dioxide gas cylinder to or from the gas regulator.

摘要: A refrigerator in which a refrigerant pipe assembly including a refrigerant pipe and a refrigerant pipe insulator coupled to the refrigerant pipe is inserted into an inner case in an inward direction from an outside of the inner case through an opening of the inner case. A portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed in the ice making chamber, and a remaining portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed between the inner case and the outer case. The refrigerant pipe insulator portion disposed between the inner case and the outer case is supported by a body insulator foamed between the inner case and the outer case. In accordance with this structure, it is possible not only to insulate the refrigerant pipe, but also to easily insert the refrigerant pipe into the ice making chamber and to keep the refrigerant pipe in a firmly-supported state.
