Abstract: A processing apparatus for treating acid mine wastewater using an activated carbon-loaded microorganism includes a purifying container, a reducing body and an oxygen consumption body. By arranging a fuel gas body, a bottom of a cover disc is in threaded connection with a top of a top pipe after red phosphorus in a bottom cylinder is ignited, air in a feeding chamber enters into the bottom cylinder through gas ports, the oxygen in the air is consumed as the red phosphorus continues to burn, such that an interior of a reaction bin is in an oxygen-free environment, for ease of the microorganism performing the biological reduction reaction on the acid mine wastewater.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing fresh water from aqueous salt solutions in the form of water vapor condensate released by cooling an air stream maximally saturated with water vapor and circulating between a condenser refrigerator and a device for heating, by solar rays, and contacting streams of the salt solution being dehydrated and of atmospheric air being saturated by the water vapor are provided. The initial lithium-bearing natural brine is used as a coolant prior to the use thereof as a raw lithium-bearing source for selective extraction of lithium on granulated LiCl·2Al(OH)3·mH2O sorbent. The method and apparatus allow the production of fresh water both from highly mineralized aqueous salt solutions and from low-mineralized solutions, for example, the fresh water extracted from natural primary lithium concentrate, without the costs associated with technogenic thermal energy provided by heating steam or electricity.

Abstract: A device for treating uranium tailings with microorganism is provided and includes a treatment container, a spray water distribution assembly, a microbial incubator and a first pump. The water is transported from the microbial incubator to the spray water distribution assembly through the first pump, allowing the microorganisms to enter the interior of the uranium tailings in the treatment container. After treatment is completed, the water is collected by the water collection cylinder and sent back to the microbial incubator for recovery, so as to reduce the waste of microorganisms. The even distribution of horizontal spray pipes can evenly spray water containing microorganisms on the uranium tailings in the treatment container, which makes the distribution of microorganisms in the uranium tailings more uniform and can prevent inadequate treatment and improve the treatment efficiency of microorganisms on uranium tailings.

Abstract: A magnetic material used in the magnetic SF-based composite aerogel is a ferroferric oxide nanocubic particle, which is a magnetic nanomaterial with both excellent magnetocaloric performance and excellent photothermal performance. The magnetic SF-based composite aerogel prepared by the present disclosure exhibits excellent responsiveness to both alternating current (AC) magnetic fields and sunlight. Under an action of an AC magnetic field, the magnetic SF-based composite aerogel exhibits excellent temperature rise performance, which can inhibit the generation of biofouling in pores and channels inside a three-dimensional (3D) porous evaporation material. The magnetic SF-based composite aerogel exhibits excellent water evaporation performance under a sunlight irradiation, with a water evaporation rate of 2.03 kg m−2·h−1.

Abstract: A fluid cleaning system for cleaning contaminated water sources via at least one cleaning process. The system includes at least one solids dissociation apparatus that includes a housing, at least one insert operably engaged with the housing and is adapted to receive a continuous fluid stream, and a transducer operably engaged with the housing and is disposed about the at least one insert at a distance away from said at least one insert inside of the housing. The transducer is configured to create cavitation, via sonic waves, to eviscerate contaminants in the continuous fluid stream. The system also includes at least one solids separation apparatus operably connected with the at least one fluid treatment apparatus for receiving the eviscerated contaminants provided in the fluid stream. The at least one solids separation apparatus is adapted to separate the eviscerate contaminants from the fluid stream for at least one separation process.
