    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic device and a radio frequency (RF) communication connection method for the electronic device. A method of connecting an electronic device to an external device includes searching for at least one external device connectable with an electronic device within a preset communication range by using first short-range communication, determining an operation period of a second short-range communication module for performing second short-range communication with the at least one external device, based on a search result with respect to the at least one external device, activating the second short-range communication module according to the determined operation period and detecting a contact of a user of the electronic device with respect to an external device among the at least one external device by using the activated second short-range communication module, and receiving address information of the external device by performing second short-range communication with the external device, upon detecting the contact of the user.

    Abstract: Claimed is a method for control in wireless power transfer systems and a wireless power transfer system implementing such method. The system comprises a transmitting inductor; a receiving inductor spaced apart from the transmitting inductor; a half bridge inverting circuit or a full bridge inverting circuit with constant switching frequency for driving the current in the transmitting inductor, wherein said half bridge inverting circuit comprises at least two switches, or said full bridge inverting circuit comprises at least two diagonal pairs of switches. The switches or diagonal pairs of switches are configured to be turned on complementarily, and the current amplitude in the transmitting inductor is controlled by varying the difference between the on-times of said switches. The claimed method and system provide efficient power transfer in conditions of variable load and/or variable input voltage and/or variable coupling between Tx and Rx parts.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an analog phase shifter for mitigating transmission losses. The analog phase shifter includes a multi-port network including an input port for inputting an RF signal and an output port for outputting a phase-changed RF signal. The analog phase shifter further includes a hybrid coupler configured to operably couple the input port and the output port to a plurality of load ports. The analog phase shifter additionally includes tunable reflective loads coupled to the hybrid coupler through the plurality of load ports. Load values of the tunable reflective loads are tuned by applying a plurality of independent voltages.
