Abstract: An image processing apparatus is provided. The image processing apparatus according to an example embodiment includes an input unit comprising input circuitry, and a processor configured to: perform a noise reduction process on an image input through the input unit, identify a first pixel block based on an object pixel in the input image, identify a second pixel block based on the object pixel in a denoised image, obtain a gain value based on a pixel value included in the first pixel block and a pixel value included in the second pixel block, and perform an enhancement process on the denoised image by applying the obtained gain value to the second pixel block.
