摘要： A method for providing a search service and a display apparatus applying the same are provided. According to the search service providing method, a search window for doing an Internet search is displayed on a partial area of the screen that displays an image. The search window can be converted into an image display window in response to receiving a specific manipulation input by a user, thereby allowing the user to use the search service while converting between the use of the search window and video watching.
