Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a hinge, a first housing connected to the hinge, a second housing connected to the hinge so as to fold the first housing, and a display disposed to receive support of at least a portion of the second housing from at least a portion of the first housing through the hinge. The display includes a display panel, at least one polymer member disposed at a rear surface of the display panel, and a conductive plate disposed at a rear surface of the at least one polymer member. The conductive plate includes a first flat portion facing the first housing, a second flat portion facing the second housing, and a flexible portion configured to connect the first flat portion and the second flat portion and disposed to be bendable. The flexible portion includes support pieces spaced apart from each other through slits, and a conductive elastic member configured to connect electrically and physically the first flat portion, the support pieces, and the second flat portion.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a foldable housing and a flexible display. The foldable housing may provide a front surface of the electronic device and a rear surface of the electronic device. The flexible display may be located in an inner space of the foldable housing. The flexible display may be combined with a front cover of the foldable housing providing the front surface. The front cover may include a pattern in which a plurality of openings corresponding to a folding portion of the foldable housing or a plurality of recesses provided in a surface facing the flexible display are periodically provided. A plurality of sub-pixels emitting light of a same wavelength in the flexible display may be arranged in a same direction as a direction in which the plurality of openings or the plurality of recesses are periodically arranged.

Abstract: An electronic device includes: a flexible display that is configured to be deformable to a first state, in which an exposed amount of a display area of the flexible display has a first size, and a second state, in which the exposed amount of the display area is expanded in a first direction; a deformable member including a liquid-state electrode, the deformable member configured to deform in a length direction based on the flexible display transitioning between the first state and the second state; a deformation sensing circuit configured to sense a resistance component of the liquid-state electrode, the resistance component corresponding to an exposure degree of the display area; a connector member electrically connecting the deformable member and the deformation sensing circuit; a rigid member coupled to the deformable member; and a fixed structure contacting a partial area of the rigid member.
