The method includes receiving service specific information for at least one multimedia service provided from different networks, selecting one service based on the service specific information, and receiving the selected service. The service specific information includes one of a first service map table including information about at least one service which is transmitted over a plurality of logical channels, and a second service map table including information about at least one service which is transmitted over a single logical channel. Each of the first and second service map tables includes asset-related information.

    摘要： An apparatus is provided for transmitting multimedia content. The apparatus includes a communication interface and a controller coupled to the communication interface. The controller is configured to identify a packet including a packet header and a packet payload. The packet payload includes an access unit including media data related to the multimedia content and information related to the access unit. The controller is also configured to identify control information for delivery and consumption of the multimedia content, and transmit the identified packet and the identified control information. The information related to the access unit includes information on a sequence number of the access unit.

The server includes a first sub-layer of the S layer for producing first messages to provide information used for the use of MPEG a second sub-layer of the S layer for producing second messages to provide information used for delivering MPEG media, and a Delivery (D) layer for making external and internal deliveries of the first and the second messages, wherein each of the first and the second messages includes at least one field corresponding to each of the message type, version, length, extension field and payload.

The apparatus for reproducing multimedia data according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiver for receiving multimedia data; a data processor for processing the received multimedia data and extracting a data unit and signaling information; a synchronization information processor for extracting synchronization information related to a broadcasting image provided by a current service from the signaling information; a service demultiplexer for extracting audio data or video data from the data unit; and a broadcasting image reproducer for decoding the audio data or video data, and reproducing the decoded audio data or decoded video data on the basis of the synchronization information.
