    Abstract: The battery module includes: battery stack configured to have a plurality of stacked batteries, batter stack including valve portion that releases a gas generated in each battery and output terminal; a plurality of bus bars configured to electrically connect output terminals of the plurality of batteries, the plurality of bus bars grouping the plurality of batteries into a plurality of battery units including at least two batteries, the plurality of bus bars connecting in parallel output terminals of batteries in each battery unit, the plurality of bus bars connecting in series battery units; and metal filter configured to be disposed between valve portion and output terminal in a first direction in which valve portion and output terminal are arranged and disposed, in stacking direction of batteries, within an extension range of battery belonging to a first terminal group to which a first bus bar of bus bars is fixed.

    Abstract: There is provided a battery system including parallel-connected bus bars each connecting the plurality of prismatic battery cells in parallel, and a safety mechanism configured to be capable of interrupting a current path of prismatic battery cells connected in parallel by the parallel-connected bus bars, where the sealing plate of one of the prismatic battery cells convexly deforms due to a rise in an internal pressure of this prismatic battery cell when an abnormality occurs, the sealing plate that has convexly deformed comes into contact with the parallel-connected bus bars to form external short circuitry between the electrode terminals that are positive and negative of one prismatic battery cell connected in parallel to the prismatic battery cell with the abnormality, and external short circuitry activates the safety mechanism that interrupts a current flowing into the prismatic battery cell with the abnormality.

    Abstract: A power supply device includes outer case, a battery block housed in this outer case and including at least one or more secondary batteries; a circuit board connected to the battery block; and power supply connector connected to output lead that outputs an output current from the battery block. Power supply connector is attached in a floating state to fixed surface of outer case. Furthermore, the circuit board is disposed in parallel to a first direction orthogonal to fixed surface between fixed surface and the battery block. Output lead is disposed in wiring space provided in a lower side or an upper side of the circuit board, and connected to the battery block.
