    Abstract: A colorimetry device includes a support base having a support surface for supporting a measurement target and a carriage to which a colorimeter is detachably attached and that is configured to move in a first direction, which is a direction along the support surface, and in a second direction, which is a direction along the support surface and which intersects the first direction, the colorimeter being configured to measure color of the measurement target, wherein the carriage includes, on an inner wall of an accommodation section that accommodates the colorimeter, a contact surface that is in contact with a side surface of the colorimeter when the colorimeter is attached or detached and a friction coefficient μ1 between the contact surface and the side surface of the colorimeter is smaller than a friction coefficient μ2 between the housing of the carriage and the side surface of the colorimeter.

    Abstract: A printing apparatus includes: a roll sheet container that contains a roll sheet around which a recording sheet is wound; a first sheet guide that makes contact with a first surface of the recording sheet; a second sheet guide that makes contact with a second surface of the recording sheet; and a transport roller that transports the recording sheet. The first and second sheet guides are disposed so as to face each other to form a sheet route along which the recording sheet is to pass. The transport roller transports the recording sheet that passed along the sheet route. The second sheet guide includes: a projection that protrudes toward the roll sheet container; and a pushing section that extends from the projection along an outer circumference of the roll sheet and in a direction away from the first sheet guide.

    Abstract: A cutter apparatus is provided that includes a fixed blade and a movable blade positioned facing the fixed blade, and that is configured to cut a medium transported between the fixed blade and the movable blade. The movable blade includes: a guide portion that is driven to reciprocate between a standby position at a distance from the medium and a cutting position, where the movable blade intermeshes with the fixed blade, protrudes further toward the movable blade than a cutting edge of the fixed blade when the movable blade is in the standby position, and is pressed by the movable blade to move in a state of being contact with the fixed blade when the movable blade is in the cutting position; and a biasing member configured to bias the guide portion toward the fixed blade.

    Abstract: A tractor unit has first and second tractors with tractor pins that engage sprocket holes on opposites sides of continuous paper.
