摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and articles of manufacture are provided for recovering a digitized spectrum and may comprise: an optical system configured to transform rays, the optical system including a diffraction grating, a steering mirror, a stage, and an actuator configured to move one of the stage, diffraction grating, or steering mirror according to a movement regime to vary an incidence of the rays on the stage; a sensor array disposed on the stage configured to receive the rays incident from the optical system at a plurality of measurement locations to obtain a plurality of ray spectra; and a processor electrically connected to the sensor array configured to receive the ray spectra, interleave the ray spectra to yield an interleaved spectrum, and deconvolve a point spread function corresponding to the optical system from the interleaved spectrum to yield a recovered digitized spectrum.

摘要: An optical module includes an actuator that includes a movable part to be moved along a predetermined direction; a first interference optical system that includes a first movable mirror, a first stationary mirror, and a first beam splitter; and a second interference optical system that includes a second movable mirror, a second stationary mirror, and a second beam splitter. The first interference optical system is adapted so that first light reciprocates m times (m is a natural number) between the first beam splitter and the first movable mirror along the predetermined direction. The second interference optical system is adapted so that second light reciprocates n times (n is a natural number greater than m) between the second beam splitter and the second movable mirror along the predetermined direction.

摘要: Methods and systems for detecting early stage dental caries and decays are provided. In particular, in an embodiment, laser-induced autofluorescence (AF) from multiple excitation wavelengths is obtained and analyzed. Endogenous fluorophores residing in the enamel naturally fluoresce when illuminated by wavelengths ranging from ultraviolet into the visible spectrum. The relative intensities of the AF emission changes between different excitation wavelengths when the enamel changes from healthy to demineralized. By taking a ratio of AF emission spectra integrals between different excitation wavelengths, a standard is created wherein changes in AF ratios within a tooth are quantified and serve as indicators of early stage enamel demineralization. The techniques described herein may be used in conjunction with a scanning fiber endoscope (SFE) to provide a reliable, safe and low-cost means for identifying dental caries or decays.

摘要: A tool for positioning a scanning device provided with a spectrometer comprises a support having a resting zone suitable for being rested onto a surface, a fixing arrangement for fixing the scanning device to the tool. The support is so dimensioned as to leave uncovered an operative zone in which the spectrometer is movable for acquiring an image provided on a substrate, so that the spectrometer can acquire the image while the support is resting directly on the substrate. The tool further comprises a vision device comprising a video camera for recording the image and a control unit that controls the video camera, the control unit being programmed to recognise pre-established points of the image recorded by the video camera.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to the field of optical systems. The envisaged multi-scan optical system is compact and stable. The system comprises an excitation source, a hydra fiber cable, a wavelength selector, an optical element, and a detector. The excitation source is configured to emit composite light. The hydra fiber cable has a head and a plurality of tentacles, and is configured to receive the composite light via a second lens. The plurality of tentacles is configured to emit the composite light towards the wavelength selector which includes a plurality of optical slits (s1-s8) and a plurality of shutters. The wavelength selector is configured to selectively collect and filter the composite light directed by a first lens and the plurality of tentacles by means of the plurality of shutters. The detector is configured to detect the plurality of spectral line scans reflected by the optical element for spectrometric analysis.

摘要: The present invention provides an interferometer and the like, that is capable of ensuring the speed stability of the movable mirror while achieving the speed up of the reciprocal movement of the moving mirror and suppressing the increment of the maximum instantaneous thrust force required for the turning back as much as possible. The interferometer includes a moving mirror, a movement mechanism for reciprocating the moving mirror, a movement control part for controlling the movement mechanism and allowing the moving mirror to be reciprocated at a constant speed, and a measurement part for measuring a position of the moving mirror. The movement control part is adapted to receive target position data indicating a target position of the moving mirror, and control the movement mechanism to bring the measurement position of the moving mirror measured by the measurement part close to the target position indicated by the target position data.

摘要: A spectral measurement device includes a light reflection grating having a plurality of movable gratings and a movable grating drive unit that displaces the movable gratings to alter a grating pattern of the light reflection grating, a light detecting element that detects light incident on the light reflection grating, a storage unit storing a relationship between a light quantity to be detected by the light detecting element and corresponding light intensities at differing wavelengths for different grating patterns, and a computation unit that calculates light intensities at the differing wavelengths of the light incident on the light reflection grating based on the light quantity of the incident light detected by the light detecting element for each of the different grating patterns by altering the grating pattern based on the relationship between the light quantity and the corresponding light intensities for the different grating patterns stored in the storage unit.
