    Abstract: A circuit device includes: a first terminal and a second terminal coupled to a resonator; an amplifier circuit configured to amplify a signal from the first terminal and output the amplified signal to the second terminal; a variable resistance circuit that is provided on a signal path between the amplifier circuit and the second terminal and includes a variable resistor, a first switch provided at one end of the variable resistor, and a second switch provided at the other end of the variable resistor; a third switch coupled in parallel to the variable resistance circuit; and a control circuit configured to control a resistance value of the variable resistor and control the first switch, the second switch, and the third switch to be turned on or off.

    Abstract: A real-time clock module includes a clocking circuit configured to generate clocking data based on a clock signal, an output terminal, a memory circuit configured to store output control information for controlling an output of a signal from the output terminal and output value information in which a value of the signal output from the output terminal is set, and an interface circuit configured to receive a setting value of the output control information and a setting value of the output value information. When the setting value of the output control information is a first setting value, the real-time clock module outputs a first signal based on the setting value of the output value information from the output terminal.

    Abstract: A clocking device includes a first clocking circuit that generates first clocking data in synchronization with a clock signal, a second clocking circuit that generates second clocking data which is updated in a cycle longer than a cycle in which the first clocking data is updated, an interface circuit that transmits the first clocking data to an external device, and receives a first correction value from the external device, and a storage circuit that stores the first correction value, in which the first clocking circuit sets the first correction value in the first clocking data so as to correct an update timing of the second clocking data.

    Abstract: A real-time clock device includes a package that houses a resonator, an oscillation circuit, a clocking circuit, and a functional circuit, and on which external terminals are formed. The external terminals include a high-potential power supply terminal coupled to a high-potential power supply, a low-potential power supply terminal coupled to a low-potential power supply, a clocking signal terminal used at least for controlling the clocking circuit, and a functional signal terminal used for controlling the functional circuit, the functional signal terminal is arranged outside the high-potential power supply terminal, the low-potential power supply terminal, and the clocking signal terminal in a direction in which the external terminals are arranged, and the real-time clock device further includes a switching circuit that switches between a state in which the functional signal terminal and the functional circuit are coupled and a state in which the functional signal terminal and the functional circuit are not coupled.
