Abstract: A highly reliable display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer. The first light-emitting element includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer over the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode over the first EL layer. The second light-emitting element includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer over the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode over the second EL layer. The first insulating layer covers the side surface and part of the top surface of the first EL layer and the side surface and part of the top surface of the second EL layer. The second insulating layer overlaps with part of the top surface of the first EL layer and part of the top surface of the second EL layer with the first insulating layer therebetween, includes a region positioned between the side surface of the first EL layer and the side surface of the second EL layer, and includes a depressed portion in a position overlapping with the region. The common electrode is provided over the second insulating layer.

Abstract: A display apparatus with high display quality is provided. The display apparatus includes a first pixel, a second pixel placed to be adjacent to the first pixel, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer over the first insulating layer. The first pixel includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer covering the first pixel electrode, a third insulating layer over the first EL layer, and a common electrode over the first EL layer and the third insulating layer. The second pixel includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer covering the second pixel electrode, a fourth insulating layer over the second EL layer, and the common electrode over the second EL layer and the fourth insulating layer. Part of the second insulating layer overlaps with the first pixel electrode. Another part of the second insulating layer overlaps with the second pixel electrode. In a cross-sectional view of the display apparatus, a side surface of the second insulating layer has a tapered shape and a top surface thereof has a convex shape.

Abstract: A display apparatus with high display quality is provided. A display apparatus includes a first pixel, a second pixel provided adjacent to the first pixel, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer over the first insulating layer. The first pixel includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer covering the first pixel electrode, a common electrode over the first EL layer. The second pixel includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer covering the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode over the second EL layer. The first insulating layer covers part of a side surface and part of a top surface of the first EL layer and part of a side surface and part of a top surface of the second EL layer. At least part of the second insulating layer is provided to be sandwiched between an end portion of the side surface of the first EL layer and an end portion of the side surface of the second EL layer. The second insulating layer contains an acrylic resin, and the second insulating layer has a tapered side surface and a convex shaped top surface. A taper angle of the tapered side surface of the second insulating layer is less than 90°, and the common electrode overlaps with the second insulating layer.
