摘要: In an ion generation apparatus, induction electrodes are formed on a surface of a substrate, holes are provided inside the induction electrodes, respectively, needle electrodes are disposed in a substrate, and tip end portions of the needle electrodes are inserted into the holes, respectively. Furthermore, a part of each of the induction electrodes is removed, thereby reducing the size of the substrate for entire size reduction. By such a configuration, it becomes possible to provide an ion generation apparatus that can stably generate ions even in a high humidity environment and that can be mounted also in small-sized electrical equipment.

A first conductive path includes the terminal and extends from the terminal to the discharge electrode and a second conductive path includes a terminal and the induction electrode. Part of the first conductive path is located in proximity and opposed to part of the second conductive path.

摘要: A discharge device capable of maintaining a stable discharge performance even in a highly humid environment or an atmospheric environment containing salt includes a discharge electrode discharging when a voltage is applied thereto, a substrate supporting the discharge electrode, an induction electrode arranged apart from the discharge electrode, and an insulator enclosing all of the substrate and the induction electrode. The discharge electrode has a root portion supported by the substrate, a pointed end protruding from a surface of the insulator, and a taper portion tapering from the root portion toward the pointed end. An outer peripheral surface of the root portion is made of a material having an ionization tendency lower than that of hydrogen.

摘要: A discharge device is housed in a housing portion of a holder. The discharge device includes a housed section and a discharge electrode protruding from the housed section. The housed section is housed in the housing portion. The housed section includes a bottom wall and two side walls. The two side walls oppose each other in a longitudinal direction of the bottom wall. At least one of the two side walls is connected to the bottom wall via a curved surface. The curved surface guides a corner of the housing portion when the housed section is housed in the housing portion. As a result, the housed section is housed in the housing portion without catching on the corner.

摘要: An ion generation device includes a discharge electrode substrate, an induction electrode substrate, and an insulating resin. The insulating resin provides insulation between the discharge electrode and the induction electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are disposed and face each other at least partially. The first electrode, the second electrode, and the insulating resin interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode form a capacitor.
