摘要： A lip cosmetic has a high transparency without giving unnatural whiteness and exerts a remarkable effect of ultraviolet ray protection over a broad wavelength range including the UVA and UVB regions. The lip cosmetic includes (A) at least 5% by mass of UV absorbers; wherein said (A) UV absorbers comprises (A1) at least one UV absorber selected from a group consisting of octocrylene, dimethicodiethylbenzalmalonate and diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, and (A2) ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate; (B) a high-viscosity oil component in a range of 30% by mass to 70% by mass thereof; (C) a low-viscosity oil component in a range of 20% by mass to 40% by mass thereof, and (D) titanium dioxide and zinc oxide of which a total content is at most 0.5% by mass thereof; and wherein a sun-protection-factor (SPF) of the lip cosmetic is at least 20, and a critical wavelength thereof is at a shortest 370 nm.

摘要： An oil-in-water emulsified sunblock cosmetic has excellent feeling when used and maintains a high ultraviolet-ray protective effect even upon contact with water or sweat. The oil-in-water emulsified sunblock cosmetic contains an (A) ultraviolet-ray protective agent and a (B) fatty acid forming a solid at room temperature, the cosmetic is characterized in that 51% or less of the fatty acid is neutralized, and the formulation ratio ((A)/(B) of the (A) ultraviolet-ray protective agent to the (B) fatty acid is in the range of at least 0.1 and less than 10.0. The cosmetic exhibits the unprecedented and surprising property of contact with water causing an improvement to the ultraviolet-ray protective ability. It is preferable for the cosmetic to contain an (C) oily component having IOB of 0.5 or higher.

摘要： The object is providing a water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic having a property not present in the prior art, in which UV protection ability improve upon contact with water, sweat and the like in comparison with that directly after application, and also having pleasant texture and easy to wash off. The present invention provides a water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic comprising (A) 6 to 40 mass % of a UV protective agent; (B) an organic-modified clay mineral; (C) an oil-phase-thickening agent, other than (B) and (D) a silicone-based surfactant having an HLB of less than 8, wherein the ratio, [total quantity of component (B) and component (C)]/[total quantity of (E) non-volatile liquid oils except silicone oils], is 0.04 or more and less than 0.68.

摘要： The present invention provides an oil-in-water emulsion composition thickened with a hydrophobically modified polyether urethane, the composition having improved high-temperature stability and giving a pudding-like unique feeling. The invention provides an elastic jelly-like composition characterized in that a hydrophobically modified polyether urethane has been incorporated into an oil-in-water emulsion including oil droplets with an average particle diameter of 150 nm or smaller. The elastic jelly-like composition is transparent or translucent, gives a pudding-like elastic feeling, has excellent viscosity stability at high temperatures, and is suitable for use as a cosmetic-preparation base. The hydrophobically modified polyether urethane is especially preferably a PEG-240/decyltetradeceth-20/HDI copolymer.

摘要： A purpose of the present invention is to provide an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic having a fresh feeling in use like that of a skin-care cosmetic such as a milky lotion, while also allowing titanium oxide or zinc oxide, which are ultraviolet scattering agents, to be stably blended into the oil phase, and also providing excellent sunscreen effects. The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic characterized by comprising (A) an ultraviolet scattering agent having a hydrophobic surface; (B) a water-soluble alkyl-substituted polysaccharide derivative; (C) a higher alcohol; and (D) a non-ionic surfactant. The emulsion cosmetic of the present invention preferably has a viscosity, measured by a B-type viscometer at 30° C., of 12,000 mPa·s or lower.
