摘要: Various embodiments include a drive system for a vehicle, the system comprising: an internal combustion engine for converting chemical energy stored in a liquid fuel into mechanical energy; a fuel tank for storing fuel for use by the internal combustion engine; and an electric machine having a rotor, a stator, and a cooling system for cooling at least one component of the electric machine using a cooling liquid. The cooling liquid comprises the fuel.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for driving an air vehicle using a multilevel converter with at least two converter modules. A first operating voltage is applied to at least one of the converter modules in a first operating state, and a second operating voltage which is lower than the first operating voltage is applied to the converter module in a second operating state. The air vehicle is designed to carry out such a method and comprises an electric drive which has at least one multilevel converter with at least two converter modules, each of which is designed and connected so as to be supplied with a first operating voltage in a first operating state and with a second operating voltage which is lower than the first operating voltage in a second operating state. Advantageously, the air vehicle is an airplane, in particular a hybrid electric airplane.

摘要: The invention relates to an electrical conductor which is made up substantially of one or even several metal conductors which are sheathed by a graphene layer. Particularly in the case of the electrical conductor transporting an alternating current, the current in the conductor is forced radially outwards and therefore flows in the graphene layer. Since graphene has a substantially better conductivity than the materials customary in this application, such as copper for example, relatively low losses are accordingly produced and substantially higher degrees of efficiency can be achieved. The electrical conductor constructed in this way is used in a stator and/or rotor winding of an electrical machine, so that it has a significantly elevated power-to-weight ratio.
