Abstract: An antenna, in particular a magneto-inductive antenna, for a hearing instrument as well as a hearing instrument having such an antenna are provided. The antenna has a first antenna surface and a second antenna surface, which are respectively formed from a flexible magnetic foil. The antenna furthermore has a base, which is formed from a magnetic material or contains a magnetic layer, and which connects the two antenna surfaces to one another. The two antenna surfaces are angled off from the base in the same direction. Lastly, the antenna contains an antenna winding which has at least one first monolayer spiral coil and is arranged, in particular applied, externally on the first antenna surface so that an axis of the first spiral coil is oriented perpendicularly with respect to the first antenna surface.

Abstract: A magnetic-inductive antenna for a hearing instrument includes two antenna surfaces which are formed from magnetic, flexible foil, and a base which is wound with an antenna winding. The base has, at each of its end sides, a respective opening into which a respective one of the foil blanks is inserted. A hearing instrument and a method for producing a magnetic-inductive antenna for a hearing instrument are also provided.

Abstract: A loudspeaker module for a hearing device has a loudspeaker, which has a loudspeaker diaphragm and a drive for the loudspeaker diaphragm, and a housing, in which the loudspeaker is arranged. Furthermore, the loudspeaker module contains an antenna unit, which has an antenna coil having a coil axis, a tubular coil core, which forms a sound channel, and an antenna base plate, in which a sound passage opening that opens into the sound channel is formed. The antenna coil, the coil core and the antenna base plate in this case prescribe an antenna characteristic of the antenna unit. The side wall of the housing on the diaphragm side is in this case formed by the antenna base plate.

Abstract: A binaural hearing device has first and second hearing aids and a control device. Each hearing aid has a communication unit, an audio receiver and an earphone. The communication units are configured for reciprocal data transmission by inductive coupling. The audio receivers receive and process stereophonic audio data. The control device switches one of the hearing aids to an inactive audio reception state and the other to an active audio reception state, swaps the audio reception states of the hearing aids within an operating period based on a signal strength of the audio signal of one hearing aid at a time, and drives the hearing aid with the active audio reception state to transmit audio data to the hearing aid with the inactive audio reception state via the communication units.

Abstract: An antenna device for hearing instruments is particularly suited for ITE hearing instruments to be worn in the auditory canal. The system enables improved data transmission with increased transmission bandwidth with insignificantly increased space and energy requirements. An antenna arrangement with a coil core of magnetically permeable material has a preferred transmit and receive spatial direction. A further electric hearing instrument component emits electromagnetic interference radiation. A partially planar shield of magnetically permeable material is disposed between the antenna arrangement and the further component transversely to the transmit and receive spatial direction of the antenna arrangement and at a distance of 50 to 150 micrometers from the coil core. The distance is optimized to the fact that the signal-to-noise ratio has a maximum around 100 micrometers. The shield effect between antenna and further hearing instrument component initially increases with increasing distance and passes into saturation at about 100 micrometers.

Abstract: A hearing aid, in particular an in-the-ear hearing aid, has a housing in which an antenna module is arranged. The antenna module has a winding and a receptacle space in which an electronic component, such as an earphone, is arranged. The antenna module is prefabricated in that an assembly body is provided to which a magnetic layer and then the winding are applied. The assembly body defines the receptacle space and is designed for this purpose optionally as a tubular hollow body having a cavity forming the receptacle space or the assembly body is alternatively removed so that the receptacle space is formed by the removal. The electrical component is then inserted into the receptacle space of the prefabricated antenna module and the unit, consisting of the component and the antenna module, is placed in the housing.

Abstract: A hearing device has a housing in which a receiver is arranged as an electrical component. An antenna arrangement is formed, which has a winding in the form of a coil, which is arranged around the receiver with the interposition of a shielding foil. The shielding foil has a section extending around the receiver and several lugs adjoining it, which project beyond the receiver, the lugs enclosing between them an interspace adjoining the receiver. The shielding foil has in particular two layers, namely a magnetic layer and an electrical shielding layer. By this arrangement an antenna arrangement with high sensitivity is formed and at the same time a shielded partial area is created in the inter-space in which further components can be arranged. Due to the design of the lugs, which are particularly flexible, they can be attached to an inner wall of a housing.
