Abstract: The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and a program capable of acquiring predetermined information. Included is: a light source unit configured to radiate beams of coherent light having a plurality of wavelengths; an imaging unit configured to capture a speckle image representing an interference state of reflected light caused by the light radiated from the light source unit to an object; and a processing unit configured to process, for each of the wavelengths, the speckle image captured by the imaging unit. The processing unit acquires the predetermined information by analyzing a variation amount of the speckle image acquired for each of the wavelengths. The imaging unit includes a filter that disperses the wavelengths, and the processing unit processes the speckle image subjected to the dispersion using the filter. The light source unit radiates beams of light having different wavelengths to a plurality of respective objects. The present technology can be applied to a sensor.

Furthermore, the present technology also provides a video projection method including: a projection step of projecting video display light from a video projection device toward an eyeball; and a light collecting step of causing video display light projected in the projection step to be collected near a pupil with an optical element (120) and then to reach a retina. The projection step and the light collecting step are performed in a state where a positional relationship between the optical element (120) and the eyeball (130) is fixed.
