Abstract: An electronic device and communication method are disclosed. The electronic device comprises a processing circuit configured to perform a pre-processing operation on a first one-dimensional sequence of modulation symbols, the pre-processing operation including: performing a dimension-increasing conversion to convert the first one-dimensional sequence of modulation symbols into a first multi-dimensional modulation symbol block; transforming the first multi-dimensional modulation symbol block into a second multi-dimensional modulation symbol block with a first transformation, wherein the first transformation couples each symbol in the first multi-dimensional modulation symbol block with each other; and performing a dimension-decreasing conversion to convert the second multi-dimensional modulation symbol block into a second one-dimensional sequence of modulation symbols, wherein the dimension-decreasing conversion is an inverse process of the dimension-increasing conversion. The processing circuit is also configured to transmit the second one-dimensional sequence of modulation symbols.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication includes a classification unit and an allocation unit. Abstract: A method for an electronic device includes determining, based on indicating information of an uplink pilot sequence allocated by a base station, an uplink pilot sequence, transmitting the uplink pilot sequence, and determining a change in a geographical location of the electronic device. In a case that the geographical locations of the electronic device before and after changing correspond to different cell partitions, the uplink pilot sequence is updated based on the indicating information allocated by the base station, and the updated uplink pilot sequence corresponds to the cell partition corresponding to the geographical location of the electronic device after changing. The uplink pilot sequence is for the base station estimating a channel between the base station and the electronic device, and filtering based on the geographical location of the electronic device during the channel estimation, to obtain a channel estimation result matching the electronic device.

Abstract: A communication device includes a processing circuit, the processing circuit being configured as: mapping a first information bit part used for a receiving end to a corresponding channel based on a pre-set mapping rule so as to execute spatial modulation with respect to the first information bit part of the receiving end; allocating a transmission power to the receiving end; and controlling the transmission power allocated through a mapped channel to transmit a second information bit part used for the receiving end.
