    摘要: A composite sintered material includes: cubic boron nitride grains; and hexagonal boron nitride grains or the hexagonal boron nitride grains and wurtzite type boron nitride grains, wherein a dislocation density of the cubic boron nitride grains is more than or equal to 1×1015/m2 and less than or equal to 1×1017/m2, a median diameter d50 of equivalent circle diameters of the cubic boron nitride grains is more than or equal to 10 nm and less than or equal to 500 nm, and a relationship of the following expression 1 is satisfied: 0.015≤(Vh+Vw)/(Vc+Vh+Vw)≤0.5,  Expression 1: where Vc represents a volume-based content ratio of the cubic boron nitride grains, Vh represents a volume-based content ratio of the hexagonal boron nitride grains, and Vw represents a volume-based content ratio of the wurtzite type boron nitride grains.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a member according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is a method for manufacturing a member having a substrate and a sprayed coating formed on a surface of the substrate. The method includes: supplying an oil into a recessed portion of the sprayed coating, a kinematic viscosity of the oil at 40° C. being more than or equal to 3 mm2/s and less than or equal to 43 mm2/s; and dry-cutting, using a cutting tool, a surface of the sprayed coating with the recessed portion supplied with the oil. A supplied amount of the oil is more than or equal to 0.1 weight % and less than or equal to 2.7 weight % with respect to an apparent weight of the sprayed coating.

    摘要: A composite sintered body according to the present invention contains at least cubic boron nitride and a binder. Cubic boron nitride has a continuous skeleton structure as a result of bonding of a plurality of first cubic boron nitride particles to each other. The binder has a continuous structure as a result of bonding of a plurality of binder particles to each other, that are present in a region except for a bonding interface where the first cubic boron nitride particles are bonded to each other. Second cubic boron nitride particles isolated from the first cubic boron nitride particles forming the skeleton structure are dispersed in the continuous structure of the binder particles.

    摘要: A cubic boron nitride sintered material includes: more than or equal to 50 volume % and less than 80 volume % of cubic boron nitride grains; and more than 20 volume % and less than or equal to 50 volume % of a binder phase, and when an oxygen content is measured in a direction perpendicular to an interface between cubic boron nitride grains using TEM-EDX, a first region having an oxygen content larger than an average value of an oxygen content of a cubic boron nitride grain exists, the interface exists in the first region, and a length of the first region along the direction perpendicular to the interface is more than or equal to 0.1 nm and less than or equal to 10 nm.
