A disengagement window (74) used to operate the disengaging portion (28) is formed on a position of the rear portion (73) behind the disengaging portion (28).

A support (42) as a deflection supporting point of the resilient contact (14) is provided on a rear end of the resilient contact portion (14). The support (42) is located behind the front ends of receiving portions (41) of the resilient contact (14) to be locked by the locks (24).

Lock protrusions (68) configured to slide while deflecting the side walls (18) in the process of inserting the retainer (60) into the mounting hole (17) and release the side walls (18) from a deflected state and enter the lock receiving portions (22) when reaching positions corresponding to the lock receiving portions (22) are provided on outer surfaces of the retainer (60). Both end corner parts of the lock protrusion (68) in a sliding width direction (Y) perpendicular to a sliding direction on the side wall (18) are chamfered.

The shorting terminal (10) includes a pair of press-fit projections (20) to be press-fit into one press-fit groove (36) provided in the housing (30) and separated on front and rear sides in a press-fitting direction into the press-fit groove (36). The pair of press-fit projections (20) are formed such that a height of the press-fit projection located on the front side in the press-fitting direction is smaller than that of the press-fit projection located on the rear side.

    摘要: Provided is a connector in which terminal fittings and detection terminals can be formed at the same time.A housing (10) is provided with terminal fittings (20A) and a pair of detection terminals (20B). The terminal fittings (20A) are connected to ends of signal lines (70A), and electrically come into contact with counterpart terminal fittings (90A) provided in a counterpart housing (80) when both of the housings (10, 80) are fitted together. The pair of detection terminals (20B) are mutually energized thereby to close a detection circuit when both of the housings (10, 80) are properly fitted together. The pair of detection terminals (20B) are mutually connected via a detection line (70B) and formed in the same shape as the terminal fittings (20A).
