Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a gate line and a data line disposed on a substrate, a reference voltage line aligned with the data line, and a plurality of pixels arranged substantially in a matrix form. In such a liquid crystal display, each pixel includes a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a driving unit electrically connected to the gate line, the data line and the reference voltage line.
