Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel including n×m array of pixels and which sequentially drives the pixels from pixels in a first row to pixels in an n-th row, a panel driving circuit which sequentially applies first, second, third or fourth image data to the display panel, a backlight unit including a first light source disposed adjacent to the pixels in the first row and a second light source disposed adjacent to the pixels in the n-th row, and a backlight control circuit which divides each of first and second time periods into first, second, third and fourth blinking time periods, and applies a control signal to the backlight unit, where the first time period corresponds to two frames during which the first and second image data are applied, and the second time period corresponds to two frames during which the third and fourth image data are applied.

Abstract: A DC to DC converter includes: an input voltage source; an inductor connected to the input voltage source; a diode connected to the inductor; a capacitor connected to the diode; a plurality of switching elements connected to a node between the inductor and the diode in a parallel connection; and a controller configured to set duty ratios of currents flowing through the switching elements such that the duty ratios of the currents flowing through the switching elements are equal to each other.
