摘要： A display device includes: a substrate defining an opening and including a display area and a non-display area between the opening and display area, a pixel array including a plurality of pixels in the display area, each of the pixels having a pixel electrode, an opposite electrode facing the pixel electrode, and an intermediate layer between the pixel electrode and opposite electrode, a plurality of data lines bypassing the opening in the non-display area, first and second insulating layers, which cover the plurality of data lines, a conductive layer between the first and second insulating layers, and a thin film encapsulation layer covering the pixel array, the thin film encapsulation layer including at least one organic encapsulation layer and at least one inorganic encapsulation layer, and wherein, in the non-display area, a first groove is defined by the first insulating layer, the conductive layer, and the second insulating layer.

摘要： A display panel includes a base substrate, in which a hole area, an active area surrounding the hole area, and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area are defined, a circuit layer including a first circuit insulating layer on the base substrate, a second circuit insulating layer on the first circuit insulating layer, and a thin film transistor on the active area, a display layer including a first display insulating layer on the circuit layer, a second display insulating layer on the first display insulating layer, and a light emitting element on the active area and connected to the thin film transistor, a guide pattern on the circuit layer between the light emitting element and the groove part, and an encapsulation layer which covers the light emitting element and including first and second inorganic layers and an organic layer. The organic layer covers at least a portion of the guide pattern.

The base substrate includes: a module hole in the display region, and passing through the front surface and the rear surface; a first recess at the display region and recessed from the front surface, the first recess surrounding the module hole in the plan view; and a second recess at the display region and recessed from the front surface, the second recess surrounding the first recess in the plan view. The first recess and the second recess have different widths from each other in a direction parallel to the front surface.

摘要： A display device capable of improving reliability (e.g., impact resistance) of a display panel having a through-hole, and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. A display device includes: a camera module including a lens; a display panel including a through-hole overlapping the camera module on a plane; a window glass on the display panel; and a filling member in the through-hole and opposing each of the camera module and the window glass. A refractive index difference between an end portion of the filling member and the lens is about 0.7 or less, and a refractive index difference between another end portion of the filling member and the window glass is about 0.5 or less.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a display device with a display panel, an input sensing unit, and a protective member. The input sensing unit is disposed on the display panel. The protective member includes an insulating material and is disposed on the input sensing unit. The protective member includes a first protective portion and a second protective portion disposed on the first protective portion, where a first modulus of the first protective portion is greater than a second modulus of the second protective portion. The second protective portion with the lower modulus absorbs external impacts, and the first protective portion with the higher modulus disperses the absorbed impact and prevents the display panel from being deformed by an external force. Therefore, the impact resistance of the display device is improved.

摘要： A display panel includes a peripheral region adjacent to a display region. The display region includes a hole peripheral region, and a recessed region is overlapped with the hole peripheral region. The display panel also includes a barrier layer with a penetrating opening overlapped with the recessed region, a circuit layer on the barrier layer and including a transistor and insulating layers, and a device layer including an organic light emitting area coupled to the circuit layer. In addition, a module hole is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and penetrates the base substrate, and a first groove is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and corresponds to a portion of the base substrate that is recessed from a top surface of the barrier layer and that encloses the module hole. The insulating layers include inorganic layers and an organic layer having side portions enclosing the module hole.

The base substrate includes a first base layer including the rear surface, a first barrier layer on the first base layer and including first inorganic films having a first refractive index, and second inorganic films having a second refractive index, a second base layer on the first barrier layer, and a second barrier layer on the second base layer and including the front surface. The first and second inorganic films are alternately stacked.
