    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a thin film transistor disposed in a display area of a substrate and a display device in the display area that is electrically connected to the thin film transistor, an encapsulation layer that protects the display device, at least one through portion formed in the display area that vertically penetrates the substrate and a plurality of layers stacked on the substrate, and a first groove and a second groove that are spaced apart from each other and that surround the at least one through portion. A flow-restriction portion is disposed in a region between the first groove and the second groove that protrudes upwards from the substrate and confines an organic encapsulation layer of the encapsulation layer.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area outside the display area; an inorganic insulating layer stacked on the substrate and located in the display area and the peripheral area; an organic insulating layer on the inorganic insulating layer; a through portion located in the display area and penetrating through the substrate, the inorganic insulating layer, and the organic insulating layer; and at least one groove surrounding the through portion, wherein an end portion of the inorganic insulating layer is covered by the organic insulating layer at an outer side of the at least one groove, and the end portion faces the through portion.

    Abstract: A display panel including: a base substrate including first and second surfaces, a display region and a peripheral region; a pixel layer provided on the display region, the pixel layer including a plurality of pixels; a module hole penetrating the display region; a blocking groove in the display region and adjacent to the module hole, the blocking groove being recessed in the base substrate; an encapsulation layer provided on the pixel layer, the encapsulation layer including a first inorganic layer, a second inorganic layer and an organic layer; and a filling member in the blocking groove, the filling member including a same material as the organic layer, wherein the second inorganic layer covers a top surface of the filling member and a top surface of the first inorganic layer adjacent to the top surface of the filling member.

    Abstract: An electronic panel comprises a base substrate which comprises a front surface comprising a hole area and a display area surrounding the hole area and a rear surface and comprises a module hole located in the hole area and a plurality of recess patterns located in the hole area, a plurality of pixels, an encapsulation layer covering the pixels and comprising a first inorganic layer, a second inorganic layer, and an organic layer, and a protective pattern located in the hole area and spaced apart from the organic layer when viewed in a plan view. The recess patterns comprise a filled recess pattern filled with at least one of the organic layer or the protective pattern, and an exposed recess pattern exposed from the organic layer and the protective pattern.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a base substrate including a front surface and a rear surface and having first and second holes, and a pixel layer on the base substrate. A display area is defined in the front surface. The first hole overlaps with the display area and penetrates the front and rear surfaces. The second hole overlaps with the display area, is adjacent to the first hole, and is recessed from the front surface. The base substrate includes a first base layer including the rear surface, a first barrier layer on the first base layer and including first inorganic films having a first refractive index, and second inorganic films having a second refractive index, a second base layer on the first barrier layer, and a second barrier layer on the second base layer and including the front surface. The first and second inorganic films are alternately stacked.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a peripheral region adjacent to a display region. The display region includes a hole peripheral region, and a recessed region is overlapped with the hole peripheral region. The display panel also includes a barrier layer with a penetrating opening overlapped with the recessed region, a circuit layer on the barrier layer and including a transistor and insulating layers, and a device layer including an organic light emitting area coupled to the circuit layer. In addition, a module hole is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and penetrates the base substrate, and a first groove is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and corresponds to a portion of the base substrate that is recessed from a top surface of the barrier layer and that encloses the module hole. The insulating layers include inorganic layers and an organic layer having side portions enclosing the module hole.
