    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel to display an image for each of frame periods, and an input sensing unit directly on the display panel to sense a user input. A display device further includes a first driver to control driving of the display panel and a second driver to control driving of the input sensing unit. The frame period includes a display period and a blank period adjacent to the display period. The duration of the blank period may vary randomly during a set reference period.

    Abstract: Provided is a display panel including: an array substrate; an opposite substrate facing the array substrate and including a second base substrate and a common electrode disposed on the second base substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposite substrate. The array substrate includes: a first base substrate disposed in a display area and a non-display area; a photosensitive polymer organic layer disposed in a first non-display area and extending to a pad area, the photosensitive polymer organic layer having a taper shape at an end portion of the first non-display area; a thin film transistor disposed on the first base substrate in the display area; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; and a signal input pad connected to the thin film transistor and disposed on the photosensitive polymer organic layer in the pad area.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel having a first liquid crystal layer, a timing controller that converts image signals to have gray scales corresponding to a first reference value, and compensates the converted image signals to over-drive the first liquid crystal layer, the first reference value being a product of a refractive index anisotropy and a thickness of the first liquid crystal layer, a first driver that converts the compensated image signals to voltages that drive the first liquid crystal layer, a liquid crystal lens panel including a second liquid crystal layer, a liquid crystal lens controller that generates lens signals corresponding to a second reference value defined by a product of a refractive index anisotropy and a second thickness of the second liquid crystal layer, and a second driver that convert the lens signals to voltages that drive the second liquid crystal layer.
