    摘要: A method and apparatus report channel state information (CSI) feedback of a user equipment (UE) in a coordinated multipoint communication system. The method includes identifying, when downlink transmissions to the UE are configured with at least two CSI subframe subsets, an interference measurement resource within one of the CSI subframe subsets belonging to a CSI reference resource. The method also includes using the identified interference measurement resource to derive an interference measurement. The apparatus includes a controller configured to, when downlink transmissions to the UE are configured with at least two CSI subframe subsets, identify an interference measurement resource within one of the CSI subframe subsets belonging to a CSI reference resource. The controller is configured to use the identified interference measurement resource to derive an interference measurement.

    摘要: A base station for generating multi-user precoders. The base station includes a transceiver configured to receive sounding reference signals (SRSs) from a set of user equipments (UEs), and a processor configured to select, for one or more UEs in the set of UEs, one or more codewords from an uplink codebook based on a correlation between the one or more codewords and the one or more SRSs; determine, using a composite downlink codebook, downlink codewords for the selected uplink codewords, respectively, the composite downlink codebook mapping uplink codewords to downlink codewords based on steering angles derived from the uplink codewords; transmit a set of pre-coded channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) to the one or more UEs, wherein the pre-coded CSI-RSs are pre-coded based on the determined downlink codewords; and identify a downlink channel matrix based on CSI feedback from the one or more UEs and the pre-coded CSI-RSs.

The method comprises generating a primary synchronization signal (PSS) including one of multiple PSS sequences that is generated based on a M-sequence of length 127 in a frequency domain, wherein the PSS indicates part of cell identification (ID) information using a cyclic shift performed on the M-sequence generating the PSS; generating a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) including one of multiple SSS sequences that is generated based on multiple BPSK modulated M-sequences of length 127 in the frequency domain, wherein the SSS indicates the cell ID information using cyclic shifts performed on the M-sequences generating the SSS; and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), the PSS and SSS over downlink channels.

    摘要: A method of user equipment (UE) for beam management in a wireless communication system comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), at least two groups of Tx beams comprising transmit (Tx) signals generated from different antenna panels, the at least two groups of Tx beams transmitted through reference signals; receiving, from the BS, configuration information including a selection constraint for the at least two groups of Tx beams; measuring, based on the configuration information, at least one beam from each of the at least two groups of beams; selecting at least one Tx beam from each of the at least two groups and a same Rx beam set as an Rx beam corresponding to respective selected Tx beams; and transmitting, to the BS, a reporting message including information of the selected Tx beams and the selected same Rx beam set corresponding to the Rx beam.
