An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes a power supply configured to supply DC power, a controller configured to determine a wireless power transmission mode or a wireless power reception mode if at least one electronic device is detected, and output a control signal indicating a wireless power transmission frequency supported by the detected electronic device from among a plurality of wireless power transmission frequencies if the wireless power transmission mode is determined, a conversion circuit configured to output the DC power supplied from the power supply as AC power in response to the control signal output from the controller and a wireless power transceiver configured to transmit the AC power supplied.

The method includes transmitting power of a first level determined based on a maximum load power level of a load, which is electrically connected to a wireless power receiver, to the wireless power receiver, receiving information on a used load power level according to a load change in the load from the wireless power receiver, and controlling a power level transmitted to the wireless power receiver according to the information on the received used load power level.

The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method for controlling a charging operation of a battery. The charging control method includes charging a battery using a first charging mode, if a current voltage of the charged battery coincides with a predetermined voltage, decreasing an intensity level of a charging current and charging the battery using the decreased charging current intensity, and if the decreased charging current intensity coincides with a predetermined current intensity, converting from the first charging mode to a second charging mode and charging the battery using the second charging mode.

The wireless power receiver includes a resonant circuit configured to receiving electromagnetic waves from a wireless power transmitter and output alternate current (AC) power, a rectifier configured to rectify the AC power received from the resonant circuit into direct current (DC) power, a DC/DC converter configured to convert the rectified DC power received from the rectifier and output the converted DC power, a battery, a charger configured to charge the battery with the converted DC power, and a controller configured to, upon detection of an event indicating a change in impedance at an output end of the DC/DC converter, control the impedance at the output end of the DC/DC converter to be kept constant by adjusting voltage at the output end of the DC/DC converter.

A wireless power transmitting apparatus wirelessly charging a wireless power receiving apparatus is provided. The wireless power transmitting apparatus includes a power providing unit configured to provide power, a gate driver configured to generate a differential signal formed of a first signal and a second signal from the power provided from the power providing unit, an amplifier configured to amplify the differential signal by a predetermined gain, a power transmitting unit configured to transmit the amplified differential signal to the wireless power receiving apparatus, and a differential signal correcting circuit that is disposed between the gate driver and the amplifier and is configured to correct the differential signal so that a predetermined phase difference between the first signal and the second signal is maintained.
