The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method for performing authentication. The electronic device of the present invention comprises: a communication module; a memory; a processor electrically connected to the communication module and the memory; and an authentication module configured so as to be stored in the memory and executed by the processor, wherein the authentication module can be configured so as to transmit, on the basis of at least a part of a request, authentication information stored in the memory to an external electronic device, when the authentication request related to the external electronic device is obtained.

A refresh address generator may include a lookup table including a first portion storing a first group of addresses associated with a first data retention time, and a second portion storing a second group of addresses associated with a second data retention time different from the first data retention time, wherein the addresses of the first portion are more frequently accessed than the addresses of the second portion to refresh the memory cells corresponding to the addresses. Systems and methods may also implement such refresh address generation.

Provided are a terminal having a radio frequency identification (RFID) function and a method of processing information of the terminal for allowing intuitive interaction between a screen manipulation and an RFID manipulation with respect to using an RFID related service. The method of processing the information of the terminal including a screen and an RFID recognition unit, includes detecting a screen area corresponding to a position of the RFID recognition unit disposed at a predetermined position of the screen; displaying an RFID icon at a position of the detected screen area; recording information in an RFID tag based on the RFID tag contacting the RFID icon, and recognizing the information from the RFID tag the RFID tag contacting the RFID icon.

A semiconductor memory device includes: a memory cell array including a plurality of memory cells; an error correction code (ECC) engine configured to detect and/or correct at least one error bit in read data and configured to generate a decoding status flag indicative of whether the at least one error bit is detected and/or corrected, wherein the read data is read from the memory cell array; a channel interface circuit configured to receive the read data and the decoding status flag from the ECC engine and configured to transmit the read data and the decoding status flag to a memory controller, wherein the channel interface circuit is configured to transmit the decoding status flag to the memory controller through a pin; and a control logic circuit configured to control the ECC engine and the channel interface circuit in response to an address and a command from the memory controller.

The method includes identifying an application displayed on the display of the head-mounted display device in front of a portion of the optical lens; identifying a first light transmittance based on a type of the application or a type of a content of the application; changing, by a processor, a light transmittance of the optical lens to the first light transmittance; and displaying the content of the application on the display while the light transmittance of the optical lens is maintained in the first light transmittance.

Provided are method and apparatus for writing and reproducing a multimedia service using a tag in order to provide an intuitive interface for a user using a multimedia service. The method includes selecting a multimedia service to be written; generating tag information identifying the selected multimedia service; and writing the generated tag information to a tag. Accordingly, multimedia service information and content information can be stored in a tag by being written to tag information using a common format, and thus the user can later execute a service operation by easily writing information of a desired service operation to a tag and then simply connecting the tag to a tag reading device.

A content supply system, including a user terminal which is used to purchase content; a content supply server which stores therein purchase description information of the first content purchased through the user terminal, and supplies second content based on the purchase description information of the purchased first content; and a display device which transmits usage authorization information to the content supply server corresponding to the purchase description information of the purchased first content, and receives the second content from the content supply server. The present invention supplies content which is purchased by a user through a user terminal and enables a user to use the content without double payment for the content.

Provided are an equalizer and a semiconductor memory device including the same. The equalizer includes a delay circuit and an inverting circuit. The delay circuit is configured to output, in response to a select signal, one of a delay signal delaying an input signal applied to an input/output node and an inverted signal inverting the input signal. The inverting circuit is configured to invert a signal provided from the delay circuit and output the inverted signal to the input/output node. The equalizer is configured such that when the delay circuit outputs the delay signal, the equalizer operates as an inductive bias circuit amplifying the input signal and outputting the amplified input signal, and when the delay circuit outputs the inverted signal, the equalizer operates as a latch circuit storing and outputting the input signal.

The display apparatus includes a communication interface configured to receive a control command for a character input from a control device, a display configured to display characters corresponding to the control command, and a controller configured to control the display to move a cursor in word units when a correction command to correct the displayed characters is received.
