Abstract: Provided is an image sensing apparatus including an image sensor including a pixel array configured to output a raw image having a Bayer pattern, and an analog end configured to perform an analog binning process on groups of pixels of same colors included in same columns of each of a plurality of sub-kernels corresponding to a first green pixel, a red pixel, a blue pixel, and a second green pixel, and output median values for different colors, and a digital signal processor configured to perform a digital binning process on the median values for the different colors included in different columns of each of the plurality of sub-kernels, and output a binned image.

The first array of pixels has a color pattern formed in an n×m array and includes at least first-color pixels, second-color pixels, and third color-pixels. Abstract: An image processing device and an image processing method are provided. The image processing device includes an image sensor configured to sense and output a raw image and an image signal processor configured to compare pixel values of the raw image with a reference level to classify a saturation color image and a non-saturation color image, calculate a first fixed pattern noise from the saturation color image, calculate a second fixed pattern noise from the non-saturation color image, generate a final fixed pattern noise by combining the first fixed pattern noise with the second fixed pattern noise, and output a revised image by subtracting the final fixed pattern noise from the raw image.

Abstract: An image sensor is provided. The image sensor includes: a pixel array including a plurality of pixel groups arranged in a Bayer pattern; a row driver connected to a row of the pixel array; and a readout circuit configured to sample a pixel signal from the pixel array, to compare the sampled pixel signal with a ramp signal, and to generate a digital image signal based on a comparison of the pixel signal and the ramp signal. A pixel group of the plurality of pixel groups includes sixteen sub-pixels arranged in a 4×4 array, the 4×4 array includes a plurality of readout areas, and the plurality of readout areas are activated alternately with each other. In each of the plurality of readout areas in the pixel group, micro lenses are arranged asymmetrically with each other.
