Abstract:
An electronic device includes a processor, a touch sensor, and a touch controller including a register. The processor writes, into the register, data associated with a partial area of the touch sensor specified to sense an effective touch. When the effective touch is sensed in the partial area of the touch sensor, the touch controller writes data associated with the effective touch into the register, and the processor reads the data associated with the effective touch from the register when the data associated with the effective touch is written in the register.

Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device according to an embodiment may include a display including a touch sensor, a fingerprint sensor formed in at least a partial area of the display, a processor and a control circuit that controls the touch sensor. The control circuit may detect an input related to an external object through the at least a partial area while the processor is in a low power state, determine whether the external object is an input related to the fingerprint sensor, when the external object is not an input related to the fingerprint sensor, discard the input of the external object, and when the external object is an input related to the fingerprint sensor, emit light through a display area at least including the at least partial area in the low power state. In addition, various embodiments understood through the disclosure may be possible.
Abstract:
An electronic device comprising: a touch panel; and a touch sensing controller configured to: operate at least one first area of the touch panel in accordance with a first sensitivity configuration setting; and operate at least one second area of the touch panel in accordance with a second sensitivity configuration setting that is different from the first sensitivity configuration setting. The at least one first area is adjacent to at least one side edge of the touch panel and a touch sensitivity of the at least one first area is lower than the touch sensitivity of the at least one second area.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch screen module including at least one touch sensor and a display screen, a memory, and at least one processor electrically connected to the touch screen module and the memory. The touch screen module operates in at least one of a first state in which no input is received through the at least one touch sensor and no display screen operates, a second state in which an input is received using at least a portion of the at least one touch sensor and no display screen operates, or a third state in which all of the at least one touch sensor and all of the display screen operate. The second state switches to a fourth state in which a portion, but not all of the display screen is displayed, in response to a user input received using at least a portion of the at least one touch sensor at the second state.
