Provided are a mobile device, a method for operating the same, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. The mobile device includes a touch display configured to sense a user input; a memory; and a processor configured to examine, upon receiving the user input for generating an audio file from the touch display, characteristics of the user input and characteristics of a first audio included in first audio data stored in the memory, generate melody data based on the characteristics of the user input and the characteristics of the first audio, generate a second audio based on the melody data and chord information included in the first audio data, and generate the audio file by combining the generated second audio with the first audio.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device comprising a biometric sensor disposed in a display, and the electronic device comprises: a transparent cover; a display module located under the transparent cover, wherein the display module comprises a display layer in which pixels are formed and one or more additional layers formed under the display layer, and an opening is formed in at least a partial region of at least one layer among the one or more layers; a first printed circuit board having a biometric sensor module, which is disposed under the display module and makes contact with the opening; and a second printed circuit board electrically connected to the first printed circuit board and the display module, wherein a pressure sensor module can be disposed in the surrounding region of the biometric sensor module under the display module in the second printed circuit board. A method of controlling group chatting in a portable device, and a portable device performing the same, which are capable of extracting and displaying a dialog of a certain conversation partner on a sub-chatting window are provided. The method includes detecting a request for an extraction of a dialog for at least one certain conversation partner from conversation partners in the group chat, extracting the dialog of the at least one certain conversation partner from one or more dialogs in the group chat, and displaying the extracted dialog on a sub-chatting window.

The disclosed electronic device may include a front plate and a rear plate, a touch screen display exposed through a part of the front plate, a fingerprint sensor disposed to overlap a region of the display when viewed from above the front plate, a processor operatively connected to the display and the fingerprint sensor, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. the memory may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, control the electronic device to display a user interface including a first object at a first location of the display, to obtain a gesture input to drag the first object from the first location to the region, to move the first object to the region depending on the gesture input, and to perform authentication using the fingerprint sensor based on the finger being located on the region.

An electronic device and a method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a housing, a display, a first communication circuit, a detection circuit, a memory, and a processor. The detection circuit is configured to detect a stylus pen when the stylus pen including a second communication circuit is located within a predetermined distance range from the display. The processor is operably connected to the display, the first communication circuit, the detection circuit, and the memory. The processor is configured to receive a signal containing unique identification information from the stylus pen. The processor is also configured to execute a first application program while receiving an input generated based on a touch by the stylus pen on the display or generated based on a movement of the stylus pen detected within the predetermined distance range. The processor is further configured to associate the unique identification information with the first application program.

A method and an apparatus for easily setting a snooze interval in a mobile device are provided. In the method, the mobile device receives an event for setting a snooze function, outputs, when receiving the event, a plurality of display regions respectively corresponding to a plurality of snooze intervals, and selects one display region of the plurality display regions. Then the mobile device sets the snooze function with a specific snooze interval corresponding to the selected one display region.
