    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method by which an electronic device uses an auxiliary device so as to connect an IoT device to an IoT service. The method of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: receiving, from an IoT device, basic information about the IoT device through an auxiliary device; discovering, on the basis of the basic information, the IoT device by using one from among one or more discovery methods; and registering the discovered IoT device with the IoT service.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for dynamically controlling ranging power. An electronic device method using ultra-wide band (UWB) communication, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: transmitting an initiation message for initiating UWB ranging; and identifying whether a response message corresponding to the initiation message has been received from another electronic device.     Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for spatial reuse of time resources. A method performed by a UWB device includes receiving, from a first initiator anchor, a first poll message to initiate a DL-TDoA for a first cluster to which the first initiator anchor belongs, the first initiator anchor providing a time reference for an inter-cluster synchronization; performing the inter-cluster synchronization for using a common ranging block, based on the first poll message; and transmitting a second poll message to initiate a DL-TDoA for a second cluster to which the UWB device belongs. The first poll message is transmitted in a first ranging round in the common ranging block, and the first poll message is transmitted in a second ranging round in the common ranging block.
