Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for canceling multi-user interference (MUI) by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system. The method includes determining the number of tones to accumulate channel values among tones included in a resource area, based on a minimum delta cyclic shift (CS) that represents a minimum gap between CS values allocated to user equipments (UEs) and a number of UEs to be multiplexed, creating a matrix of amounts of change in phase for the tones to accumulate for the UEs to be multiplexed, and canceling MUI based on a signal matrix.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and device for controlling a timing of a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method for controlling a timing of a terminal by a base station in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: determining a target timing of a terminal so as to locate an uplink signal reception timing of the terminal in a cyclic prefix (CP) interval; transmitting, to the terminal, a timing control command including information on the target timing; receiving an uplink signal from the terminal; and compensating for a time offset value of the received uplink signal on the basis of the target timing.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method of operating a base station for interference cancellation in a wireless communication system is provided. The method may include receiving, from a target terminal, an uplink data signal including at least one interference signal generated by at least one interference terminal; performing a primary decoding for the uplink data signal; in accordance with decoding errors, generating a cancelling signal corresponding to an interference signal of the at least one interference terminal; performing a cancellation by applying the cancelling signal to the uplink data signal; and performing a secondary decoding for the uplink data signal to which the cancelling signal has been applied.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for controlling a whitening function of a whitening Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) in a receive end of a multiple antenna system are provided. The method includes identifying if there is interference from at least one neighbor cell, if there is interference, generating a weight of the whitening MRC using a pre-whitening inverse matrix, and, if there is no interference, generating a weight of the whitening MRC using a unit matrix, thus being capable of improving a reception performance of the receive end.
