Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for supporting broadcast data in a wireless communication system, the method for a base station for transmitting data in a wireless communication system according to the present invention comprising the steps of: generating a system information block comprising a first item of hysteresis information for a first type terminal and a second item of hysteresis information for a second type terminal; and broadcasting the generated system information block.
Abstract:
The terminal supporting the public safety service based on the evolved multimedia broadcast multicast services (eMBMS) service needs to reselect a frequency providing the eMBMS service in the idle mode. The terminal may be configured to: receive a connection release message including priority information on frequencies for cell reselection; determine whether the terminal is in the idle mode; and perform, if the terminal is in the idle mode, cell reselection by selecting a cell to camp on based on the priority information. Here, the priority information may be configured so that the highest priority is assigned to the MBMS serving frequency used by the terminal to receive the MBMS service. In this way, the terminal supporting the public safety service may continuously receive the public safety service by selecting the current frequency during cell reselection.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). An apparatus of a base station in such a wireless communication system includes at least one transceiver, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the at least one transceiver, wherein the at least one processor is configured to acquire a channel quality of a first vehicle apparatus, acquire a resource allocation area of the first vehicle apparatus according to the channel quality, and transmit, to the first vehicle apparatus, allocation information relating to a transmission resource determined in the resource allocation area, wherein the transmission resource is used by the first vehicle apparatus to transmit a message to a second vehicle apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for supporting a public safety network access in a wireless communication system. The method for supporting a public safety network access in a wireless communication system of the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting a message comprising public safety net related information to a base station; determining whether a handover command is received from the base station in response to the message; and performing a handover at a frequency band which supports public safety network services.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for transmitting, by a base station, information in a wireless communication system, and a base station performing the same, the method comprising the steps of: generating a system information block comprising first hysteresis information about a first type terminal, and second hysteresis information about a second type terminal; and broadcasting the generated system information block, wherein the first type terminal includes a terminal which does not provide a public safety network service, and wherein the second type terminal includes a terminal which provides a public safety network service. In addition, the present invention relates to a terminal which operates with the base station, and a method for operating the terminal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) data for use in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system is provided. The method includes generating information for use in determining whether a broadcast area changes on inter-cell movement of a terminal, generating a system information block (SIB) including the generated information, and broadcasting the SIM.
