Abstract:
A touch controller includes a touch data generator that is connected to a plurality of sensing lines, the touch data generator sensing a change in capacitance of a sensing unit connected to each of the sensing lines and generating touch data by processing the sensing signal corresponding to the result of sensing; and a signal processor that controls a timing of generating the touch data by receiving at least one piece of timing information for driving a display panel from a timing controller, and then providing either the timing information or a signal generated from the timing information as a control signal to the touch data generator.

Abstract:
A method of segmenting multiple touches in a touch sensor system is disclosed. The method includes setting a point node by selecting a valid node of a touch sensor panel from among valid nodes having touch data equal to or greater than a threshold value of a touch sensor panel; determining one or more candidate labels for the point node by searching for adjacent nodes around the point node; and when there are two or more candidate labels for the point node, labeling the point node by selecting a label of a label group that has the highest group similarity with the point node and that is from among label groups of the two or more candidate labels, and by assigning the selected label to the point node.
Abstract:
A touch screen controller, a touch screen system, and a display apparatus including the same includes a touch data generator that supplies a first transmission signal to a first sensing line, supplies a second transmission signal to a second sensing line adjacent to the first sensing line, receives differential touch signals from the first and second sensing lines, and performs an arithmetic operation on the differential touch signals to generate a single-ended touch signal, and a control logic that calculates touch coordinates by using the single-ended touch signal from the touch data generator. At least one of phases and frequencies of the first and second transmission signals have different values.
