Abstract: An electronic apparatus may include a microphone; a communication circuitry; a memory; and a processor configured to: identify whether information of an external apparatus that previously connected through the communication circuitry is stored in the memory based on a preset event of the electronic apparatus; based on identifying that the information of the external apparatus that previously connected through the communication circuitry is stored in the memory, perform connection with the external apparatus through the communication circuitry based on the information of the external apparatus; and based on identifying that the information of the external apparatus that previously connected through the communication circuitry is not stored in the memory, perform connection with the external apparatus by performing a search through the communication circuitry, based on a first voice command obtained through the microphone.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a microphone, a communication interface including circuitry and a processor configured to, based on identifying that a trigger word is included in a first sound signal received through the microphone, enter a voice recognition mode, identify a gain value for adjusting an intensity of the first sound signal to be in a predetermined intensity range based on the intensity of the first sound, adjust an intensity of a second sound signal received through the microphone in the voice recognition mode based on the identified gain value, and control the communication interface to transmit a user command obtained based on voice recognition regarding the adjusted second sound signal, to an external apparatus.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes: a microphone, an IC chip configured to, based on a level of a user voice received through the microphone being equal to or greater than a threshold value set as a first level, identify whether the user voice includes a wake-up-word (WUW), and a processor configured to, based on the WUW being included in the user voice, transmit a signal corresponding to the user voice to an external electronic apparatus, and based on the transmitting of the signal corresponding to the user voice being completed, set the threshold value as a second level lower than the first level, wherein the IC chip is configured to, based on a subsequent user voice being received through the microphone, identify whether a level of the subsequent user voice is equal to or greater than the threshold value set as the second level, and based on the level of the subsequent user voice being equal to or greater than the threshold value set as the second level, identify whether the subsequent user voice includes the WUW.
